What's good at Tangerine Cafe?

*drooool* reading this thread is making me so hungry for Greek food. What's a girl to do when she's slavering for hummus at 8:30 in the morning?

So...give it to me straight: the pita bread. Any good? So many places will serve you this thin little piece of cardboard and call it pita bread. Is theirs served thick, warm and chewy or tasteless variety?

BUMP. I'd really like to know this too. Plus, I saw one person mentioned Tzaziki sauce (yogurt, cucumbers) but no one else did. Do they have Tzaziki?

The bread is not cardboard like in any shape or form. Not exactly warm either.

Yes they have the cuke and yogurt sauce.

The bread was flatbread rather than a packaged pita bread when I was there.

We ate at both the counter and the sit down in Morocco.

The counter was better. The sit down had good apetizers, but the main course was pretty much what you could get at any southern meat and 3. Bland as could be with a bit of salt. It wasn't bad but it certainly wasn't anything to write home about. It was voted by 3 of 4 of us the worst meal of the trip. I was the only exception because I got a sampler of the appetizers and stuff. The belly dancer was pretty fun though and we got seated by the stage. We ended up at the counter twice on our trip. Of the counters we went to in world showcase, we liked morocco the best. We've found that the platters there could feed an adult and a child easily.

I always used to order the Lamb Wrap, very similar to a gyro. I don't see it on the allearsnet menu anymore, not sure if they did away with it.

They have the lamb shawarma sandwich. That's similar to a gyro.

I don't believe that there are any pepper or olive things since I despise both and love their food. Their food is SO good!

And with regard to pepper -- the real trick in working with pepper is often (but not always) using it in such a way that it does what it needs to without the diner even realizing it.

We went there twice last month and there was no olive salad as seen in that picture. Instead the plate had couscous, tabbouleh, hummus and a roll. I would prefer a slice of pita bread. I had the lamb and chicken shwarma but next time it will be the chicken only, the lamb isn't bad but I thought the chicken was out of this world.

The only drawback is the hamburger on the children's platter is made to order so my nephew had to wait while we had our food. BUT, it was the best hamburger of the trip for him so it is a trade off.

IMHO, this restraurant needs more table and chairs. If it is raining outside, there isn't a seat available inside. Even if it is nice outside, it can still use some more seating.

All 9 of us voted this the best CS restaurant in WDW.

We ate there last week. We were CS hopping in Epcot, there were 8 of us and we kept stopping and getting platters to share, it was a wonderful way to try alot of the different foods offered. Hands down this cafe was the best. We had the chicken platter, the chicken wrap and the lamb platter. Best food we had the entire trip, although I wonder how they make the chicken, it is cut into strips and has the cucumber/yogurt sauce on top, but the consistency is not that of your average bird, it is almost like it has been compressed, however it was tender and tasty. Our platters came with Tabouli, Hummus and CousCous, all was delish!

We also ordered a burger for our princess brat and we had to wait for it. Since she was hungry she actually ventured to try some of our stuff, she actually liked some of it!

Great dining experience
