What's going to be the next phenomenon?

I mean, come on. Let's face it. People have started incredibly weird obessions on VMK. Is VMK going to go down to the dumpster of failed avatar chats or is this only the Dark Age of Virtual Magic Kingdom?
I've seen:
Vampires,
Making out,
Getting "merried",
Dating,
Spin the bottle,
Adopting children,
Animal shelters,
Doctors,
Schools,
Armies,
Superheroes,
Scamming, swindling, and lying,
Report crazy,
Bullies,
Cloning/Fans,
Gangs ( thanks Surferrat)
and Stalkers
I thought it might be fun if we were to guess the next VMK phenomenon
I think they'll take the Tomorrowland room and imagine they're astronauts. One virtual step for virtual man, one virtual leap for virtual mankind.

You forgot bullies. When wearing my gold ears I have had other players (always girls) tell me to 'give me the ears" and if I politely decline they tell me, 'if you don't GIVE me the ears I will report you". I just politely say I'm not trading (or sometimes I say I'm not giving up) my ears today and leave.

What do they think their virtual character can do to me? Of course, if I wanted to get confrontational, I suppose I could point out that they are 'bullying' and I should report them.

As far as the next trend, probably it will be a new costume craze, whatever it is they bring out.

Ah, Cardinal, you have forgotten stalking. It has become Single White Female on VMK. I have seen people dress up as other people, down to the pins! I have also seen people claiming to be another's #1 Fan (Misery, anyone?!) and following them around town. When I was a kid, I had so many better ideas than they come up with now. At least...I think I did

check out this site it is also run by the same company that made VMK

and it seems alot of the players are from there and ToonTown (which is Disneys)
but HAbbo has alot of the same things going on in it as VMK is getting.

Why is that getting off subject...I was just referring to the fact that alot of VMK players are coming from Habbo and they are bringing what they do in Habbo to VMK. Some people here do not know about Habbo and the fact that they are running a large VMK ad on the home page.

They also have: BF/GF, models, etc etc.

And you could go there for hints to what might happen next in VMK is all.

Not to burst anyone's bubble...but I think we've already seen the first of the "Divorce Court" or "Cheaters Courts" already a couple of weeks ago. In all it's quite amusing...but are we teaching anyone from my generation "proper social behavior," I think not.

I kind of wish the next phenomenon will be being nice to people...but apparently, that'll never happen (again) in VMK!

The Judge forced the "Cheater" to trade a bunch of items, there was a trial and everything (If you can even call it that, it was pretty much, "Did you cheat on him/her?" "No!" "Yes He/She did!" "What do you all say?" "Guilty!" "kk then, hand over all your items").

How about the infernal dancers who disco their way through rooms making others jealous. Or what about the chanters who repeat the same word over and over? How about a religion? (sadly, i bet this might not be too far from the truth). With all the role playing, I'm surprised there are not surgeries and hospitals yet or plastic surgery rooms, at that (would fit with the changes you can make to your character). What about tanning salons (though I don't know what that would do to my perfect shade of green). What about an office - some barriers would make nice cubicles, lol. Maybe a conga line that goes across the game. Perhaps a "hands across vmk" charity special. Lol, anyway, i'm getting tired now... time to go to sleep! And please don't blame me if any of this happens! I'm just guessing!

I have actually seen this not only with inferno pins but with teleport pins where people just teleport around the room
