What's going on today (8/25) with air travel?

The AP reported that were six "incidents" with Us Airline travel, with the latest being a stick of Dynamite found on a Contiental plane from Argentina to Houston.

I just heard on the news one of the incindents was a woman who refused to stop doing her nails. I assume she brougt on nail polish and refused to surrender it. The plan had to be diverted to another city and I assume she was removed. In my personal opinion this was insane. Why someone would insist on continuing doing their nails causing so many to be invconvenienced?

The "dyamite stick" appears to have been explosive residue on the man's luggage. Which could be legit. We are talking about Texas, there are people whose jobs require working with explosives.

What we have right now is the "panic" attack. Unfortunately this brings out idiots like the guy in Ireland who decided it would be fun to call in a bomb threat.... Remember the kids who pulled the fire alarm in high schoool, know they call in bomb threats to airlines....
