What's going on in October? DVC

I have resies already but it seems that when I was on the phone with MS, there are no rooms Halloween weekend! We are staying at the BWV from 10/21 through 10/29, then the 30th and 31st at OKW. We wanted to stay at the BWV the whole but they have no rooms that weekend, then VWL and BCV are also booked! Yikes is this a real busy time to go? We usually go the beginning / middle of October!

Besides Halloween, that is right in the middle of the Food and Wine Festival at EPCOT. As a result, the BWV's are very popular at that time of year.

I was surprised to find it so busy that week also.

We are going 10/24 - 10/30. We need two 2 bedrooms. I made the ressies months ago and could not get the 1st night, so we have studios and will have to move. We are waitlisted, but I'm not holding my breath.

I think several people go just for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party as tickets for that weekend sell out first. We're going that week as well as our kids don't have school on the 28th & 29th so we can go for the whole week but only miss three days of classes. Don't feel quite so guilty that way...

Wow, we're booked for 10/24-10/28 at BCV in a two bedroom, with one night at SOG for the night of the 29th before we leave on a cruise. I was hoping to switch to VWL because it's closer to the MK and we'll be spending most of our time there. Oh well. At least we got the room we wanted. Hope everyone's wait list comes through.

If we switch to VWL I'll post ASAP if someone wants the 2 bedroom at BCV for that week.
