The only crane I saw this weekend was the one by the Epcot ball. I took the boat to MGM and didn't see anything going on with a crane at BW. They are putting roof shingles on a far wing of the BC, but I don't think they had a crane either.
If you are looking at the weather bug view, you are seeing the crane at Epcot. The hand and wand and "Epcot" are completely gone; all the remains are some of the stars on top.
