With have booked for dd 13 birthday but there seems to be nothing going on, no Tarzan, no lion king, no fantilusion, no buzz light year, Have we really lucked out? thinking of cancelling. Anybody no why?
i had my doubts this morning after my travel agent told me there would be limited stuff on, but after phoning to book a character tea i spoke to a very nice cm who spoke perfect english and told me not to worry there will be daily parades, and the shows will still be on, but that was for 14th march don't know about april, i would ring and find out, i understand where you are coming from. geesh these travel agents.
I would have thought that in addition to the daily events the Easter Celebrations would have started by then as well, although the dates haven't been officially confirmed for this year, in past years it's been on for about 3 weeks or so. See here for last year's celebrations. Easter 2005
Suggestions are there the Easter celebrations are nobbled this year - although something will be ongoing during the actual Easter weekend.
This is the annoying thing with DLRP - getting sensible info from them!. It's now virtually March, and they are still advertising January/February on their Event Calender - with nothing past March yet (see http://www.disneylandparis.com/uk/news/calendar/index.htm).
Even the "Parades and Shows" page only goes as far as March 12th - hopefully soon DLRP will update to reflect the next couple of months.
As we are going from April 10th (ie hopefully Buzz will be up and running!) I'm also interested to understand WHAT will be available.
If it's any help - sites showing closed attractions information:
I believe that Tarzan Encounter begins the 8th April, and the Legend of the Lion King is having a break between 27th March and starts again on the 8th April, just in time for the opening of Buzz Lightyear laser Blast (which will open the same day), the Wonderful World of Disney Parade is performed everyday till the start of the Halloween season. Though as of yet as been said before there is no planned dates for the Easter Season this year sadly.
