Whats for Dinner?

Whole wheat penne with homemade meat sauce and some sort of veggie, probably green beans.

bourbon marinaded steak tipps, butternut squash and baked potatoes, I'm starving, almost done

We eat dinner early in this house, we already had my specialty; Lasagna. I used the "oven ready" noodles. Cut's my prep time in half!

We are having barbeque shrimp over fuslii. We had some shrimp left over from Friday, so I'm going to chop some green onions and peel the shrimp. Then I'll toss them with the pasta and some fresh lemon juice. I have some REAL french bread from the last time we were in New Orleans (I froze it), so we'll have that with an avocado salad.

DS is supposed to be cooking up some steaks on the grill. I'm going to take a nap, he can wake me up when he's ready.

Honey Nut Cheerios! :teeth:

I really am. I am trying that Special K diet only with Cheerios! I actually look forward to it all day!

Large Cheese steak, mayo, let, tomato & mushrooms. Mmmmmmmmm :thumbsup2

Just waiting to hear that delivery guy knock on the door. I'll restart my diet in the morning. :)

Home made shrimp chowda in my crock pot and a salad on the side for good measure.

Chipotle chicken tacos with black beans, guacamole, sour cream and shredded cheddar, tortilla chips with baked cheese and salsa on them and some kind of alcoholic beverage *for the adults*...but first have to go to the gym so I can actually eat them.

LOL, I would have loved to have gone for take-out! The kids actually thought it was good  ~ oh, well, there's no accounting for the taste of children I suppose!

Oh, in case anyone wants to see what I thought was so terrible:

hmmm....that recipe sounds pretty good...what didn't you like about it?

I made a buffalo chicken salad (pre-packaged lettuce, peppers, cucumber, and diced buffalo chicken deli meat)...with dressing on top.

I'm so impressed with those of you who cook nice big meals....I hate to cook but DH likes it and is good at it but it's tough during the week with work schedules....tonight DH had hot dogs and I had a Lean Cuisine pizza...not too exciting....

Oven roasted marinated Flank steak, Cheddar bacon potatoes, and green beans. Can't wait, it's been marinating all day, and looks really good!

Everything sounded good! I wound up with Arbys because we had to go to see DD's writers showcase at the last minute!

I made a whole chicken in the crock pot with a new recipe. It kinda has an asian flare to it. So I made some fried rice and stir fried broccoli for sides. But we will be heading out to batting practice in a few so I wont be eating it till much later tonight. But it smells so yummy.

an Unusual dinner, because I've been feeding my family way too much healthy food for the past 2 months :rotfl2:
Corn fritters....wish I could have had some!

For me it was the cheese. Between the Velveeta cheese sauce and then having it topped with more cheese, it was just...ugh, LOL.

I'm not a cheese loving person anyway ~ mostly I just tolerate cheese ~ so I didn't have high expectations of it to start with but the kids LOVE food cooked with cheese, LOL so I try to make something like that for them sometimes. :)
