I was searching for dinner ideas when I came across this sandwich.

Panini with Chocolate and Brie

Created by Giada De Laurentiis

12 slices sourdough bread

1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil

12 ounces brie cheese, thinly sliced

1 (12-ounce) bag semisweet chocolate chips

1/3 cup thinly sliced fresh basil leaves

Preheat the Panini grill.

Brush both sides of the bread with olive oil. Grill the bread slices until they begin to turn golden, about 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from the panini grill and place 2 ounces of cheese on 1 slice of bread (the bottom half), top the cheese with 1/3 cup chocolate chips and a sprinkle of basil. Top with another slice of bread. Continue with the remaining sandwiches. Return the sandwiches to the panini grill until the chocolate begins to melt, about another 2 minutes. Cut the sandwiches into 2-inch wide rectangles or small triangles and transfer to a serving platter.

For some strange reason it sounds really good.

Laura The pictures look wonderful. Those rolls look really good too. I loved the dress you made for Caili. I bet she will look cute.

We are having Lindsay's Ritz chicken and mac n cheese and a salad of course.

Glynis - The Lime Chicken Tacos/Nachos were a huge hit -in fact this was Kyle's last night at home until Sunday and he said "Thanks Ms. Glynis for sending me off right" - :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Glynis - The Lime Chicken Taco/Nacho recipe gives new meaning to the word "EASY".:worship: 5 minutes in the kitchen this morning, 5 minutes more to shred and add corn & salsa.....I snuck a bite, the lime gives it so much flavor, I know the family will love it! THANKS!!!!!

Hello my WFD family.........sorry I vanished on all of you for the past 2 weeks.....I thank Kathy for letting you all know that my mom's ashes came in the mail, that was like someone shot my in the stomach and drove a stake through my heart and I just fell apart, I think I had been in shock before that and going through the motions, that was just to real for me. I am now doing a bit better, still have my moments every day, but I am showering daily again AND getting dressed!! This past Sunday she has been gone a month and it feels like a day.....I thank you all so much for keeping me and my family in your thoughts and prayers.....you all are just the best group of friends....the food brought us together but the friendships are amazing... I have to give a huge thank you to Lindsey for starting this all...little did she know what we would all become to each other.:goodvibes

I am going to try to scan through somewhat and see what I missed, but I know how chatty we all are, and I am sure it will be an impossible task!!
I hope you all are doing well....you have all been in my thoughts...

Oh, Wendie! It's nice to see you back. We have all been keeping you in our prayers.

We are a very special family, here, and if you ever need us, we are here for you!

What was for dinner? reservations! HA-HA!!

We went to Pyramid Alehouse and I had fish tacos & a salad. Didn't order a beer though. They usually fill me up too much!

Since I have choir practice tonight, we are having Boo patties and fries or chips. I haven't decided which yet.

WFD at your house

ETA: Wendie, soooooooo good to see you

Wendie, So good to see you my friend. We were all wondering how you were doing. I am glad to see you feeling a bit better.

:yay: :yay: Wendie's back!!!!! I missed ya girl.

Steph - Is this your first time trying the lemon spaghetti???? Beware, it's addicting!:goodvibes

I am defrosting a container of Bolognese sauce for dinner tonight, got lots going on before we leave Friday.

Wendie, welcome back!

L, to turn off the flash, see that lightning symbol on the lower wheel on the back of the camera, right side? Push it. It will then indicate the flash is on. Push it again to turn the flash off.

I don't have a nice photo for you today because last night's dinner was lasagna. It is IMPOSSIBLE to make lasagna look like anything other than a big pan of goop. However, it was really delicious. No ricotta cheese, just a bechamel sauce. There are mushrooms in it too. We also had a salad and some crusty bread:
