What's especially exciting about your upcoming trip?

This next trip is special for many, many reasons:

1) first time at FW:cool1:
2) first time onsite EVER!!!!:yay:
3) first Christmas at the World:santa: (we're gonna be there Christmas day)!
4) we're leaving on my brother's 15th b-day:thumbsup2
I can't wait December is sooooooooooooo far away!!!!!:upsidedow

This will be my parents & brother's first time to anything Disney. We're taking them cruising then a week at WDW :cool1: .

:sad1: This will be our oldest DS graduation trip (he picked where to go) before he goes out of state to college. both my sons are my WDW buddies, since DH only goes every 4 or 5 yrs with us (he's going on this one) It will be little more sad leving the World not knowing if my DS will want to go back after starting college. Or at least not be able to go as much. :sad1:

We are really excited about this trip because it is our 25th wedding anniversary trip (and they said it wouldn't last!), and my best friend and her DH are going with us and he has never been to Disney (and, actually, my best friend has only been once...and that was befoe the Studios or Animal Kingdom). We are looking forward to them celebrating with us and enjoying Disney as much as us (we hope).

I'm bringing my mom on this trip. First Girls Only Trip! My my hasn't been since 1986! I can't wait to show her all the changes and finally reveal my surprises that I've been keeping secret for months! 28 more days!

This trip will be special because I am turning 30. I was in a major funk since I turned 29 just thinking how old I am now! So depressing. Then I was chatting w/ DH and thought wouldn't it be great to turn this around and celebrate my b-day in the best place in the world? Now I am so freaken excited I can't contain myself! :yay: The days just aren't passing fast enough. :surfweb:
We also just had our 3rd wedding anniversary on Sunday and we got engaged at Disney so we're also going to celebrate that too. I'm so thankful that even though this was planned last minute and we don't really have the fundage that DH agreed with open arms to make me happy. :cloud9:

A couple of exciting things about our August/September trip:

1. We're traveling with friends and their children ( who are friends with our children). We've always just gone to WDW just us, so it will be fun to ride with others and share our excitement about all things disney.

2. We're getting FREE DINING for the first time!!!!

2 major ones for us-

DH and I are celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary :goodvibes

It will be the first time that he & I will be there alone!

We leave in 24 days :woohoo:

Our upcoming trip in May is exciting because it's our very first trip!!! Like going to Disney at anytime is not exciting enough, but waiting 41 years, well --- I can't even explain my happiness!

And, I have a secret (SHHHHH!). I have a diver and personalized menu reserved for my girls at Coral Reef. I can't wait to see their faces when the diver knocks on the window to get their attention -- then puts up the sign. I'm so excited. It's the one thing I've been able to keep secret about this whole trip. ;)

My DSD(15) gets to join us for a week. We don't get to see her very often so it will be really nice to get to spend some time with her.

Also, the week before we arrive at WDW, we will be house hunting in the Tampa area! :woohoo:

I have so much to be thankful for during my upcoming trip. First off, I get to go solo. I love Corey with all of my heart, but she knows that I need pixie dust, so she has encouraged me to go alone this time. Next, I get to meet a couple of great DIS'ers, OrlandoMike and RickinNYC & his partner, Joe. These are really great guys and I am really looking forward to meeting them in person. I get to meet Deb Wills on the 20th, which is a late breaking major upgrade to my 3 day park plan! I have missed her by a matter of hours a couple of trips now, so finally getting to meet her is an honor that I am so looking forward to. Finally, I get to have Lunch with an Imagineer! I have wanted to do this for a very long time, because I am a huge Disney geek. Oh, and I get to stay at POR for the first time too! It's going to be a great trip. Just 10 short days from right about now, I will be in an airplane that will be starting it's decent down to MCO.

My fiance and I are taking our 3rd trip together to WDW in October. This time we are going to do the parasailing at the Contemporary, Lunch with an Imagineer and we are getting a couple's massage at Mandara Spa (at the Dolphin). :goodvibes So excited!

This upcoming trip is special for many reasons.
--It's my very first trip to WDW! 32 years in the making...
--It's our very first true family vacation. Just me, DH, DS9 & DD6.
--It's the kids' very first airplane ride and also their first trip to WDW.

Hoping to make it a little more often if it all goes well...(which really, how could it not go well??? This is Disney we're talking about!)

I am over-the-moon excited about this trip. Going April 22nd to not only visit the Mouse, but to see my DD who has been working at the Y&B Club since January. Can't wait - to see both the loves of my life - Mickey and Mandy!:goodvibes

I am beyond excited for our upcoming June trip mainly because my family will be travelling with my SIL, BIL and DNephew.

At home we live about 40 minutes away and don't get to see each other as often as we would like because of all of our schedules. We spend a few days each year on vacation together at the shore.

My kids and my nephew get along fabulously. I'm always sad that they don't see each other more than 1x a month. I grew up with 3 cousins on the same block, 2 more around the corner and 3 more a few blocks away. We were all so close, vacationed together and love/hated each other intensely.

When we go in June the kids will be 5, 7 and 8. I can't wait for them to be in Disney together and I hope they will remember it forever.

Oh yeah, and we'll be there during Star Wars Weekends!!

My Dh and I are especially excited about our upcoming trip to Pop because it will be our first Magic Your Way Pacakge.:yay: Being Fl residents we have in the past just booked a room, bought tickets seperate and kinda ate cheaply. (Lots of burgers and fries:scared1: )
NOT THIS YEAR!!! We decided to make it a package and I am excited to see how it feels! :dance3:
This will also be our first vacation without our 16 year old son.:cloud9:
Feelin' a little Guilty about that....or is that gas I feel? :lmao:
Serioulsy, DS will be at Boy Scout camp earning badges for his Eagle Scout.
See ya'll in July!

I always love going to WDW, and every trip is special for one reason or another. My husband and I will be going over Mother's Day this year. My mom died in 2005 from cancer. She is the one who "raised me on Disney" and even took a family trip to WDW all the way from South Dakota just a month before her death. Instead of visiting her grave to honor her this Mother's Day, I intend to visit one of her favorite places on earth. I'll sit in the Florida sun at Downtown Disney and thank God for giving me such a wonderful mom. She left me so much more than a taste for all things Disney, but our times together at WDW will be a special memory that I'll always be thankful for.

Our trip this May marks eight years since my husband and I first visited the Disney parks together. And we get to go by ourselves! Usually we are with family and/or friends, so this "just the two of us" trip will be fun! And it's our first time staying at the POP Century! Yeah!

From 2002 until 2007, I was fortunate to be a "Cast Member" - I worked for a Disney subsidiary which had nothing to do with the theme parks. Nevertheless, I got to enjoy all of the CM benefits...free park admission, half price hotel, meal discounts, etc.

Our first trip to WDW (DW, DD and myself) was in September, 2002. Since then, we've visited at least once a year, sometimes twice. They were always short trips (usually four nights), but we always crammed a lot in.

In two days, DD and I will be making our last trip for awhile (DW has elected to stay home...she can't take our "commando" style anymore!). We've got eight complimentary one-day Park Hopper passes left from my Disney days (they sold my division last year). DD was 7 when we went down in 2002...she's 14 now...we are planning to have a great time from Friday until Tuesday, riding all of our favorite rides and remembering all of the wonderful times we've had at WDW these past six years.

And if you 're in Orlando this weekend and you see a grey-bearded guy with a Green Bay Packers baseball cap and a Beatles shirt, walking with his beautiful 14-year old daughter, please say hello!

We are going Aug 26- Sept 2 at ASMu. This trip is so special for
a couple of reasons. This will probably be the last trip that my daughter
will have the real innosense of a kid~hoping to make the magic last
within her forever...
And Second, Aug 31st EMH at Magic Kingdom Midnight til 3AM!!
Cannot wait-never been in the parks that late!
