What's especially exciting about your upcoming trip?

This is a special trip because my dd is taking a very close friend who she rarely sees since we moved to another state. I'm looking forward to watching them have fun.

1. My 54th B-day :woohoo:

2. DD's 24th B-day :cheer2:

3. DH and my 30th Wedding Anniversary

4. DS proposing to DGF at MK

We'te going to DISNEY WORLD for the first time with our kids!!!!!!!

We're staying at the POLYNESIAN!!!!!!!

We got the 40% off PIN code!!!!!

:goodvibes We're taking our DS5 for the first time. He believes soooo much in magic & I can't wait to see his face & live the Disney Dream with my DS5 & DH. I wish there was someone to take his picture as he walked through the gate & saw the castle. It's one thing to show the map & pictures, but it's sooo much more to see it in person!! pixiedust:

It's going to be special for a couple of reasons. 1 our DD who will be 2 1/2 at the time will be her first time to be on a plane and she loves to say Mickey and for her to see Mickey will be great.

2...our friends are going who have never been to FL or Disney.

My Fiance and I will be there Nov.15-Nov18th on our last leg of our honeymoon. So I shoud say my wife and I:love: I proposed to her this past Nov. 16th at the GF and we had to tie some Disney into our honeymoon! We are staying at the Contemporary this time in the tower with a view of MK! We are counting the days until we can book our ADR's:cool1:

We are both Disney fans for life and to be there on this special occasion and anniversary of our engagement makes it that much more special!

This trip will be the first time that we're spending 6 days! I've always gone "commando" style - squeeze as much as you can into 1 or 2 days. We're actually going to be able to go to MK more than one day and take our time!

I love reading everyone's posts! They all sound so special!

My trip this May is special because it'll be DBF's first time ever and I can't wait to show him WDW and maybe...just maybe...he'll become as obsessed as me. ;)

Oh wow, what makes our May 2-10 trip so special is that our 3 kids (ages 5, 7 and 8) don't know! We even paid $200 extra in plane fares to take a flight that enables us to send the older two to school for 45 minutes before pulling them out. We're going to tell them that something has come up and we need to get to Arizona to see Papa & Nana.

Our plan is to plug them in to ipods when we get to the airport and try and keep them distracted as long as possible. The perfect scenerio would be to get all the way to the Orlando airport before they catch on.

We're going to make a little movie with pictures from our last trip(2005). At the end of that trip the kids each had a balloon which couldn't go back to the airport with us so my DH took them to the playground and told them that they were wish balloons and each of the kids made a wish on their balloons ("We want to come back") and then released the balloons to go back to Mickey so that he could hear their wishes. The end of our little movie will announce that their wishes were granted. We're going to put this movie on our iphones so that when the kids start to catch on we can play the movie to make the big announcement.

Now you have to realize that my kids have the mom who still peaks at her christmas presents if she can find them, lol. Keeping this secret is killing me!!! :rotfl2:

I swear that my kids are psychic (or psychotic depending on the day). All we seem to see these days are commercials for the year of a million dreams and they keep asking when we can go back to WDW. So far they've believed us when we tell them it's really expensive to go so we'll have to save for a couple of years to make the trip.

Anyone have a mouth gag I can borrow?

I'll be there May4th-10th!

SO much!!
- First trip including my sister's FI and my DH, so instead of the 4 of us, it will be the 6 of us.

- It's my dad's retirement trip

- It's my dad's birthday on our first night there.

- It's most of our group's first time on the dining plan, and I'm excited for them to try the table services we picked.

- We're surprising my dad with a Segway tour.

- We're surprising my parents with a diver sign and personalized menu at Coral Reef.

It's going to be a fantastic trip!! :)

This is the first time that my best friend has ever been to Disney and she is going with me:hug:

We made ADR's for the first time and it's our longest trip yet!

Oh yeah, and it's my Dad's birthday the first full day there!

I've only ever gone with my mom or my mom and brother, but this time I'm going with my six year old twin cousins, their parents, and my mom. I'm so excited to be going with children, and my cousins are really good kids, so I know they won't drive me crazy - just make the trip even more fun. We're also staying at Wilderness Lodge Villas, it's our first time ever staying in Villas (My aunt and uncle are DVC members, but we're not). The only places I've ever stayed (to my dismay, I would stay a difference place each time if I could) are Caribbean Beach, The Beach Club, and Coronado (but only for one night). Plus, this is the first time I've gone back-to-back years. Usually it's every other year or every third year, but last year we took a spontaneous trip and this year we got invited by by aunt and uncle.
