I know this may seem a bit of a strange question but we are planning on doing most of our upcoming trip at Universal with only a few days of disney !! Now we now from experience that disney parks at the weekend get unbearable and lines that ar 10 mins max in the week can be upto 90 mins at weekend. Is universal and I.O.A the same ???

When we were there in June, I definitely noticed an increase in crowds on the weekend, but for ride times there was a negligible difference since we were staying on property & had FOTL (front of the line) passes.

Are you going to be staying on or off Universal property? If you stay on property I don't think you'll notice much of a difference as far as ride wait times go.

Not sure how much of a difference it is if you don't have FOTL access, so I'll let someone else speak to that.

Hope you have a great trip!

There are 2 parks at Universal Orlando - Universal Studios Florida & Islands of Adventure. They are within walking distance of each other via City Walk which is a nice walkway between the 2 parks with lots of good restaurants & shops.

hi we are staying offsite so if crowds increase so does our wait time and with 4 small kids this can make for a cranky day !!
Thanks for your replies x

weekends always have more crowds than the weekdays.

the same for disney and seaworld.
