What's considered a snack on the meal plan? Someone said anything under $4.00.
Is this a true fact? Thanks for any info!

Snack<=$4

Not always, especially at Goofy's Candy Store.:rotfl::rotfl: Snacks must be 'single serve' items, anything marked 'family' is not included and neither are big bags of chips, boxes of donuts, large cartons of milk, etc, no matter what the price is.:rotfl: Several years ago they were, but not anymore.:rotfl:

Then you have the Food & Wine Festival where anything from the booths (that's not alcholic) is a snack, no matter what the price. Last Oct I used all my snack credits on $4.00-$7.00 items. If it wasn't over $4.00, I paid OOP for it.

Mostly Single serve items under $4, but that is NOT a hard and true fact.Example( may not be true anymore)- The funnel cake at Mk was considered a snack credit, the Funnel cake in the American Pavilion at Epcot was not though they were both $4

and most cs places in the resorts and in the parks put a Snack word right next to the item....I loved that feature...
have fun

It's my understanding that the kiosk in Epcot is not owned by Disney, it's leased, and they choose not to accept DDP.

Definitely take a look at the confirmed snack link. We just returned and found it to be a great guide. My sincere thank you to the op who keeps this current! I second the poster who said funnel cakes (only with powdered sugar/whipped cream) in MK are allowed while not in Epcot. Also, I did notice a couple of items over $4 that did have the snack symbol beside them. My DD came across a very large jawbreaker pop that wasn't even priced yet and was given to her as a snack credit because it hadn't been entered in the system. Probably just due to the luck of asking though.

If you want to be absolutely sure, anything with the snack logo next to it is a snack. Anything else you think or hope will be accepted as a snack, just ask.

The most simple interpretation on the snack list is there are exceptions to every rule .... and rules to every exception ;)

Snacks marked by the official DDP logo are official snacks. Everything else is a bonus. Enjoy! :goodvibes
