What's comparable to Bayside Elite?

We've decided to buy a pop-up, and REALLY like the Coleman/Fleetwood Bayside Elites we've seen while camping, but it appears they are no longer being manufactured. We've looked at the newer model Fleetwood pop-up campers online, but they don't look as well made the Bayside Elite. Anyone know of something comparable (or have recommendations on a good pop-up that is 22-26 feet when open)? We really liked that the Bayside had a slide-out kitchen area to open up floor space.

Thanks for any help!!

I have a 2006 Fleetwood Utah which I love.
We are a family of 6, there's me DH, DS21, DS18, DS14 and DS10, the 2 oldest boys don't always come with us but I wanted to have the space for them if they do want to come sometimes.
The dinette (which becomes a double bed) is a slide out which I really like because it opens up the floor space so much, plus there is a twin size sofa bed and 2 king size bunk ends. It also has a front storage trunk and storage under the sofa bed and under the dinette benches.
I did not choose the one with the cassette potty and shower but the option is there if you want one.

I hope this info helps and good luck, I hope you find one you like.

Thanks so much! :goodvibes That sounds like a great camper. Maybe we need to go visit the RV dealership and look at a Utah in person; the photos on Fleetwood's web site probably just don't do them justice.

It's too bad we're a bit far apart geographically. We are selling our 2004 Bayside. It has been great for us (we towed it down to FTW in April and had a wonderful time), but we are going to move up to a full size travel trailer, to gain a separate bedroom and a bathroom.

We bought ours used from a dealer, and I'm sure that you'll be able to find Baysides at local dealers, or models like the Utah that are relatively similar. I've heard that the Jayco Starcraft are very nice also. When we got ours it was barely used, and it seems that it is fairly common for high-end pop-ups to be traded in quickly for a hardside trailer (when the buyers decide they aren't as willing to put up with the set-up and tear-down as they thought they would be), which is great for those looking for a nice large pop-up at a good price.

I can highly recommend the Bayside. We've had no problems at all, and it really is very spacious inside, especially with the slide-out.

Good luck to you.

Jayco is a good company and has been manufacturing pop ups for many years. They have a good product with good product support. I have heard some negative things about the Coleman/Fleetwood products since the line was sold to Fleetwood.
