What's a good rate for a deluxe

I found a rate $285 for AK and SSR. Is this good?

$285 for what kind of room and when? The regular rate for value season for a standard room at AKL is $225, so in that case, no, it is not a good rate. It all depends on what you get for that $285.

The only Deluxe room at Disney that MIGHT be worth those prices is AKL Savannah View because it's unique.

Just to give you a comparison. You can get the Ritz Carlton for around $250 . And it's a REAL Deluxe not "fancy basic hotel"

And my favorite at the SSR studio for $285 a night you will get throw away styrofoam cups comparable in quality to the ones the Comfort Inn will give LOL! And just like the one's the Values give. Only Disney "deluxe prices/value quality" LOL

AKL rack rate - pool view - value season = $235.
(Regular season pool view rack rate is $285).
So, no, that price you received of $285 is NOT good. You should at least be able to get a AAA discount on the rack rate of $235.

SSR rack rate studio value season = $285. So you received a quote for rack rate.

Wow! I thought by going through a travel discount company on the internet I would get a good price. You guys are right! I just checked Disney's website. AKL pool view is $50 cheaper than what the discount company quoted! Oh well I just have to keep checking and hope I get a code, if not I will book through AAA.
