What's a good quick lunch spot at MK?

The day we do MK we are going to have to do a quick early lunch (we have 5PM dinner at Kona). We have tried CP (closed anyway) and Tony's already. I am looking for something quicker--would you recommend Casey's, the Plaza, or something else?

We love to go to Casey's. We have visited on our last two trips and have never been disappointed. Hot Dogs were fresh and for some reason the fries taste different to us and we think they are great. Fun little atmosphere to sit in and relax. I have never eaten at the Plaza but may stop there this trip.....but you can be sure we will fit in Casey's somewhere!

We had the best lunch at this place across from the race track ride, near Buzz Lightyear. Inexpensive, but delcious. Chicken Ceaser salad with soup, we split one, they were large. Really tasty.

With the new Aladdin/Arabian nights area there is a great little Mexican counter service right across from Pirates. We discovered it this summer and ate there twice. Taco-nacho plates in all sizes and quantity was good. Watch the milk order--my teenager ordered a "large" and it turned out to be a small carton. Lesson learned.
It's open-air and fun to people-watch as you eat. Quick as can be, and they make the food while you watch--FRESH !!

For a quick lunch I would suggest Cosmic Rays, Columbia Harbor House or Pecos Bills, depending on what part of the park you will be in. Pecos Bills and Cosmic Rays have incredible toppings bars. Pecos Bills was mostly hamburgers, Cosmic Rays has burgers, great chicken, and one other area I can't remember, and Columbia Harbour House has fish.

Our favorite is Cosmic Ray's which I believe is the one ceecee describes in her post.

Cosmic Ray's is supposed to have the best variety of counter service in the MK from what I've read.

Another vote for Cosmic Ray's! We're not big counter service fans, but always plan at least one meal there. The variety is really good.

We really enjoyed the Mexican restaurant by the Pirates, as well. Really good tacos & taco salads. Also be sure to try some goodies at the Main Street Bake Shop if you want a quick breakfast or snack. We have done this many times, too! Hope this helps!

We've always enjoyed the Plaza Restaurant on Main Street (but NOT the Plaza Pavillion on the way to Tomorrowland). Good sandwiches and sides plus pleasant service.

I vote with the others for El Pirato y al Perico (don't quote me on the spelling!). The food is fantastic! DH and I stumbled on it last year and we are planning lunch there on 11/6.

Have a great trip!!!

Cosmic Ray's is a good choice -- great variety with 3 different counters.

Just a note - I don't think Diamond Horseshoe Saloon was ever noted for its food, but we tried to eat lunch there just so we could watch the show and rest a bit. We were told they no longer serve lunch, just chips and drinks and ice cream.

We were nowhere near Cosmic Ray's, so we went to Pecos Bill's, and the chicken wrap was pretty good and quite large.

Two more votes for El Pirata. Very good tacos, nachos & taco salads. Cosmic Ray's has a good variety, including a yummy deli-stacked sandwich & a delicious cream of chicken soup.
