Other than me, of course. :earboy2:

I keep seeing things mentioned about CJs this and CJs that, and something else about a yahoo group? Thanks for any and all info!

And we use the Yahoo group to talk to each other within the group, pass personal info like addresses so we can mail them while keeping the group private.

Basically, a CJ is a book that you start on your chosen theme & then mail around the "circle". Each month someone different works on your book & passes it along. After the last person finishes it is returned to you.

It's a good way to get to know other DIS scrappers and see up-close-and-personal different scrapping styles. We have both new & seasoned scrappers in our group.

How amazing! They work in your scrapbook? How does that work-they do a page but not the journalling and pictures? I have been scrapping away for 6 years now but this board is the first board I have ever visited regarding it. Is there a link to the group? I might be interested in joining....

Thanks so much for your info!

I'll check for a link in a minute for you. I know there was a Cruise Line one starting soon, but don't know if it's full yet.

Actually, you choose the theme. For example, my book's theme is "My Favorite WDW Ride". As each person works in the book, they will do pages about their favorite ride/s, complete with photos & journaling. So they answer the "question" for themselves. It's a way of getting to know each other better.

Let me find a link that has a really good explanation for you.

I'm also pretty sure you can do a search on TwoPeas for circle journal.

I have just gotten involved in CJs and they are soooooo much fin! I Am doing the Cruise II one and one for a book CJ where each person picks a book, does the layout then sends the book and the CJ to the next person. They resemble scrapbooks but are slightly different in that the topic is focused on one central theme and all the pages are related to that theme. They are also generally done on pages that do not have plastic protectors. It takes a bit of a mindshift to get used to that but it is well worth it. To keep an eye out for CJ swaps, check out www.papercraftsmag.com or www.creatingkeepsakes.com
