I was just emailed a 40% code to use by mid Feb '10 :cool1:, but I see Dis is also running a 4/3 deal. Has anyone researched which is the better deal for either a mod hotel or the GF?

Also, where do I put the pin code into disneyworld.com when i am trying to get prices? i don't seem to see a box anywhere to enter it.

Also, we are 2 adults, 2 kids and planning to go sometime next year. We were thinking Dec '10 but with this code now I am thinking otherwise.

Thanks for the help!

Well doing the math the 4/3 deal saves you about 42%. but you also have to buy a "package" I believe- tickets plus room.
The code can be used just on the room I believe.

So the 4/3 deal looks better to me if I am figuring it out right. (which isn't a guarantee:rotfl2:)

Also, the 4/3 gives you three days of park tickets as well, so you save $9 per person on tickets. The savings is 42.8%, plus the ticket discount.

If you want EXACTLY 7 nights during the 4/3 promotion time period, the 4/3 is a little better than the 40% (3% of a Deluxe room bill would add up). If you want any more or less days than that, the 40% may work better (you probably have more date choices available with your PIN code than the 4/3 deal and you can choose how many days you want)--and you can buy your tickets elsewhere to save a little more money.

If you want more days, you may be able to book the same hotel with the 40% code after your 4/3 is up and see if you can arrange it with the front desk to just check out and back into the same room (but you never know if they will let you do that).

the 40% off is not a pin code...it's for Disney Visa holders. I used it last night. Was a better deal than even the AP rates that are running over the winter. But if you need tickets and are going for a week....the 4/3 is a better deal.

Yes, 3/7 = .428 = 43% savings

For those who are not good with math, let's assume a room is $100 a night (not at Disney!) for the case of argument. At 4/3 a week would cost you $400. At 40% off a room for a week would be $420 ($60 * 7).

I was told today by my AAA travel agent today that I can't use the 4/3 deal since I am already getting the AAA discount:confused3

Does anyone know if this is true???

True. Disney does not allow you to "stack" one discount on top of another.

But your TA should be able to switch your reservation from the AAA discounted package to the 4/3 Disney package if it is a better deal.
