I seem to be in tune with the rest of the crowd, my dad got me a Wii and I bought myself Animal Crossing and the "cheat book". I'm still looking for the Wii Fat - because I need it. My cousin's husband found one for her, however, I was shocked to find out it said he was obese, weak and had poor balance. He's a firefighter and an EMT - he could stand to lose 10 - 20 pounds but geez....

I'd hate to see what it would say about me - I really want the board so I can get the Shaun White snowboarding game.

I also got some Disney Dollars (help to pay for that para-sailing excursion) and a "pre-made" cruise scrapbook for my cruise in February.

I need to find one of these, it would be very helpful since I travel ALL the time....

I found a travel size surge protector at Radio Shack which will be great for traveling. It not only protects your electornics, but makes one outlet three and had two spaces to charge things that normally need a USB port.

The best gift of all was my four year old, half-asleep on the carried walk upstairs, who said "Mom, this was the bestest Christmas ever."

My best Christmas present came 4 days ago when my DD's now DF proposed to her in front of Sleeping Beauty's castle at Disneyland after the fireworks show. It was very romantic, complete with a glass slipper with the open ring box on top. Both families were able to be down for this special occasion!

My best gift??? the surprise that I got to have my GD over night tonight I have her every Friday night, but her mom let me have her tonight till Sat night poor baby is sick too she came down with that cold yesterday, but now she has her Grampa and Nannie to comfort her I just can't get enough of this lil baby, she is sooo sweet!!

I can't decide which present is my "best". I LOVE my new Dyson vac! Yeah! I'm also crazy about my new Hurricanes black jersey, totally unexpected! But the sweetest gift was a Jim Shore Tink from my 18 yr old DS. Love it!!

Oh, and a "nice, shiny, and downright nifty" golden dollar from my grandpa... ughh...

Oh I remember those days... I miss them! My Grampa would sneak a half dollar in my hand, and close it and pat my hand, it was a big secret between us kids and him. I so loved that guy! When I moved out with a friend, I left a bag at my mom's, filled with all my precious things(my first teddy, a Pooh where I hide those coins in his shirt, and other stuff from my childhood. She threw it out one day, not knowing still kills me!!

I got a new camera...love it and a new office chair...my back needs it! Ds(9) gave me "diamond" earrings from the Santa shop at school - too cute.

My boys got Rock Band 2, Animal Crossing and Mario Super Sluggers, clothes and Legos.

Dh got some tool thingy and Steeler stuff.

Best of all, my ds(9) said what he likes most is spending time with his family...he's a sweetie, or a good shmoozer.

It sounds like everyone here had a nice holiday.

All in all is was a wonderful Christmas and no one has to return or exchange anything.

We done good.

My DH always has a return pile going when he opens my stuff this year, only 1 return!! I got him a new iPod, the one I won here a while back, died the harddrive- caaaaput he missed it so much, I just had to get him a new one. He was sooo happy!!

No returns for anyone else. I call that a job well done too!

I was really lucky this year. My favorite gift though was a Cricut! I am SO excited and can't wait to use it. I might start using it tonight if not early tomorrow morning. I also got a Garmin GPS! WOOHOO! No more getting lost for me!

Some great gifts given and received by DISers. Cool.

DW and I exchanged very few items with each other. We got each other a card, she got me New England Pats comfy pants, and I got her a set of Mickey pjs. Our other gift to each other was a Samsung Blu-ray player. I'll be hooking that up later today and we'll both be in our new lounge wear eating tonight.

My MouseFest trip was my gift..so I got it early!

I opened a few small things yesterday w/ dh and the kids.

Got the new "Harry Potter" book (The Tales of Beadle the Bard) and set of Wusthof steak knives.

Oh... and the Illuminations CD from Epcot, but I handed that to dh for wrapping after I got home from MouseFest!

Dd is still peeved I gave up a Wii to go to MouseFest (dh gave me a choice) but has been mollified a ton w/ her new Nintendo DS!

I love love love my new digital camera!!! And my girls bought me "jewelry" from their Santa shop too! I was so proud of them.

Dhubby got a new jacket from LL Bean and AeroSmith GuitarHero and the girls got clothes from American Girl for their dolls.

Also, we will be having more Christmas on Saturday when my family arrives from Jersey!

I got a compliment on my cooking from my MIL. Our boys let us sleep until 7am and they both were really wonderful to be around yesterday.

Maybe Will can help me with this: I'm not sure what exactly a short-shifter is, but apparently that's one of the things I bought DH for Christmas.

I'm not Will, obviously, but my DH is into cars and I somehow always end up buying parts for presents. A short-shifter reduces the angle that the shifter moves between gears and reduces the amount of time it takes to go from gear to gear. Just gives a quicker shifting time and sportier feel.

Yep, he'll save massive amounts of time while shifting, lol. Of course a half second can make a big difference if he runs his car on a track or does any sort of racing.

LOL! I feel your pain! My DH has a Cobra and if I could get back all of the money (and time) that has been spent on that car we could have paid cash for a few DVC contracts.

Our real gift comes after Christmas, the baby!! Oh, and our LazyBoy rocking recliner!

We had also decided to go light on Christmas and get each other just a few things. I believe Corey's favorite gift was the laser sight he got for his Glock and mine would be the hands free head set for my phone. It will be perfect when the baby arrives!

It sounds like everyone had a great Christmas with their families and that is what really matters. Corey's Mom and Dad arrived on the 24th so we have been visiting, eating, and enjoying the company of family! It has been wondeful!!

I wonder if the baby will push on it if you shine it on your belly? I know they push back during our scans alot. See if the baby can see it..
