My older son turns 25 in a couple weeks. He's decided to take the week off from work and wanted to do some things he's always wanted to try but never had the time (or money) to do before. First up on his list - skydiving. He scheduled and booked a tandem jump for the day of his birthday and then asked if I wanted to go with him. It's been almost 30 years since the last time I've had the opportunity to try skydiving, but friends of mine were going a week before my wedding and my soon-to-be wife decided that was tempting fate just a little too much.
But, your son asks you if you want to do something with him, you go for it. 
Now I just hope he's not interested in shark diving or something like that...
