Just in case anyone on the podcast cruise didn't go to the Straw Market:

OH my!! She looks like ole Tink had one too many umbrella drinks!!!:lmao:

that may be the scariest tinkerbell I have ever seen :scared1:

So glad we decided to stay on the wonder, we got some sun and slept by the adult pool :goodvibes come to think of it it was kinda of cloudy that day but still had a very relaxing day!

I'll be honest, I was tempted to buy it because it was so funny.

If you didn't get off the boat you also missed great photo opportunities like this one:

I bought two of those for my girls - one was "Belle" which actually looks really good, and the other had flip flops and "Bahamas" written out on it. They love to carry around pocketbooks and it was a good souvenier for them since they didn't come with us.

Just having some fun at poor sad Tinkerbell's expense ;) but there were some really cute things there. Here's the one I did buy:

Wow zombie tink i would get off the boat just to laugh at stuff

I haven't bought anything from a straw market since my last purchase in Jamaica over 22 years ago...a basket (that had fleas in it!).

How anyone gets Tink out of that mess is beyond me.

A Mr. Bill Marilyn Monroe Play-Doh figure with wings. I'll buy that. ::yes::

I think Tinkerbell needs an intervention. When you start putting on clown make up for your merchandise, you know you have a problem.

By the way, I want that Mickey purse! Too bad I'm too scared of people harassing me to go to Nassau.

I'm so glad we didn't get off the ship - what with the scary Tink bags and women with chicken bones...........

One of the highlights of my trip was when I got off the ship. The offroad Segway tour was well worth ignoring the advice. Of course, that advice did come with the caveat that the tours were okay.

Next time, I'm going to try out one of the Graycliff tours. AND the Segway tour again.

I wasn't hassessed too much

I basically just walked forward and kept moving - I did say when 'pushed' no thank you and have a great day with a smile

pretty soon no one was asking me to buy anything

Geez at least that tink has two eyes!

When we were there we tried to buy one of the little ones (tiny..the 3 inch by 5 inch bags) for my daughter...they wanted 20 bucks. We tried to barter said we would spend $10, and one lady said for that much we could get this one (and she held one up). It was a one eyed Hello Kitty. No. Joke.

Needless to say we departed empty handed.
