"What You Hate In VMK"

The thing i hate most is

• the taken thing is the most annoying
• the mummy/baybe thing
• are you taken? thats SOOOOOOOO annoying

I wanted to address that one issue about VMK staff rooms. Some rooms
have in the room description that they are working and might not be
able to answer questions.

I was once in a staff room knowing fully well that while his avatar was
there, he could have been working in other windows, and many people
were asking him questions he wasn't "there" to see. This staff member
did have "I'm working, but feel free to hang out" information.

My biggest issue are the liars in the game. This includes the scammers,
the staff impersonators, and the kids who need to add drama in their
little lives by trying to play mind games on others.

But this happened in the "Ask the staff" room. I had asked one of the staff a question and they totally ignored me They answered the question to the person who was standing behind me.

Hmm... I hate being disconnected especially during a game or while I'm in line for a room. The long lineup to get into a room is annoying too but I usually just work on an e-mail or DIS in the meantime.

I hate getting the "Are you taken" question? I remember the first day I played VMK being asked about a million times and thinking the game was just a huge pick up joint!

And what's up with the pets, mommy/baby and the daycare stuff? I don't get it ... I guess I'm just old

I like to play a VMK a lot. I enjoy hanging out with friends and racking up the credits. However, there are those little things that get to me after a while.

1.) The Disconnections! ARG! Level 5: stage 3 of fireworks and that little window we all know so well pops up! Gr....

2.) "Are you taken??" ARG! So annoying and just not right!!

3.) The people who constantly ask you to trade something and then offer stuff that you can buy and things that are so low in value. gr......

I think the thing that bugs me the most are complainers/whiners. Now I'm not talking about this thread (I realize some people may take it that way, but this is the DIS boards where sometimes we need to rant about it, and not everyone had people they can rant to without getting odd looks ) Here are some examples of what I am talking about.

1. People FREAKING out when waiting in line. The "Let us in!" comments drive me insane. I really cannot stand that. I usually just have to say, "chill, you'll be let in when you're supposed to be in."

2. Trading, the crying when they don't get what they want. I had to search forever for many of my favorite items that I have now. Plus I know like my bird hat is one of my favorite items, and my sorcerer's hat is one of my least, why? Because I saved forever for both, and when the sorcerer hat just came out for 500 credits each it wasn't as good. I wish people would realize how much more awesome an item is when they've worked really hard for it.

3. Then there is just the basic whining when a player doesn't get their way. I wonder if they're like that in real life....

I find it annoying when people block the door in the Stretching Room of the Haunted Mansion. Everyone is waiting for Phineas to appear, and a small gaggle of players (usually girls) line up in the doorway, anxious to be the first out. The problem is, no one else can move while they are there. So if they miss the ghost or just hang around, the place gets backed up. What's the point of standing in the doorway? I think they should make the doorway bigger or something.

Hmm, that's a different story! LOL! I was in Hula's version of Ask the Staff,
and she had a queue with turnstile, for those waiting to ask.

She had a "fireside chat" setup in the Briar Room, where the player ready
to ask would sit in a chair by the fire next to her. I wonder if there's
another "Ask the Host" room that isn't as organized as hers?

It appears that way if you were all standing together asking questions.

Yay here beings my list (no mad faces=annoying, 1 mad face=very annoying, 2 mad faces=can barely stand, 3 mad faces=I will blow up if I see anymore):

• The puppy, cat, animal thing, "animal day care"
• Taken thing
• the sister, brother family thing-sharing rl info "it's ok she's my sister" or cousin
• the baby mummy duh duh thing
• how sometimes VMK staff will ignore your questions when you go in their rooms
• the RUDE players in VMK
• the homeless or give me free stuff people
• the people who wont stop PMing you saying come here plz plz plz plz until you come
• the people who say trade or I report
• once again THE TAKEN THING UGG! So annoying
• how VMK closes all the time and sometimes a whole day so some can't enter the yeti quest or ride the ride-a-thon
• how slow VMK is sometimes
• how you always get dc after an hour
• all the bugs in VMK (I was playing pirates and the red and blue ship got combined so I couldn't hit the blue and had to sit there till time was up
• how people want to get married on the game and they don't even know each other in rl, they have rooms to marry in
• how some people are so perverted on the game they go back to their "crib" to do "things" and "out make" which I report
• these "night clubs" I can't believe they allow those some even pretend to have alcohol in them
• how brainless some people can be in the game

I guess the stuff that is the most hated is all the crashes and dc's. WHY??? Can anyone answer this issue for me? That drives me the most nuts. Taken, mummy/ daddy, day care - Who cares? Live and let live I say! if that's what you enjoy then go for it.WOOT!!

Well myself and oh about more then half of VMK think this is VERY annoying and childish. I am not being selfish I'm being realistic. Thank you for the critisim if you haven't noticed it's what do "YOU" think about VMK not about "what you care about what others have to say about why they hate VMK".

What I hate about VMK.. let's see.. (very long list)

1) I hate constantly being disconnected!! I just wanna smash my computer!!

2) People 'acting' like they're poor and acting like im an idiot! they say they're poor, but they have 50 million different kinds of magic and they have a billion rooms and all this expensive clothes!! Then they try to make up lies and say 'uh.. oh my friend gave me that' well that's still rich! They make me wanna throw stuff at them!

3)All that 'family' business. It's so annoying. well at least when some people do it. They truly act like babies. They pretend to throw up and have people 'change their diapers'. It's so dumb!!

4)When people say their giving out free 'expesive' stuff. a) if they do then ur luky but it's not expensive. what they give u cost like 50credits! If they think that's expensive then they'r either poor or stupid. b) if u fall for it and they dont give u anything in thetrade they call u a loser and leave.

I guess that wasn't such a long list.. Oh well

2.Mummy and Duh Duh
3. Free stuff rooms (no free stuff)
4. you beach (people saying that)
5. all the fun bugs get taken away like the river ride with no river
6. All the bad bugs stay there
7. i will report you if your dont give me your bird hat or cowboy hat
8. Guests (most, not all) They think they own vmk I will do this or i am a staff, i have been here since day one (with no day one badges) I am a community leader or i will give you credits CREDITS for a miror or rocket (you cant trade credits)
9.Staff not even listening to you just saying use ignore or we will check it out
10. I dont care for taken but when they say lets make out
11. PEople bragging about having inferno and showing it off
12. Testers that ingnore you
13. The mean vmkers saying i am going to bite you or hit you
14. The flat out rude people
15. POeple trading "codes" in the game not on dis
16. taking a coffe break brb lol jk "i am only 10"
17. ok back on topic, people saying they are trading stuff they they dont have
18. Vmk closed ( i wake up at 6:30) on weekends

by the way if there is staff on here on dis read my complaints!!
do something good at least staff besides be to lazy to respond to us or help us

My top ten things WRONG with VMK. Note: They are in no particular order.:

1) When people see something they want on another person (for example, ME!) and keep asking to trade, despite saying "no trades" on your signiture.

2) When people want to be friends with you as you have cool stuff; despite saying "no friends" on your signiture (happens to me too!)

3) Begging for reasons 1 + 2

4) People who fill up CL_, Host_ or VMK_ rooms just because they want to ask a question. I want to talk too!!

5) Long reply waits from the "black hole". I have sent 2 important messages about the everest competition and a CL application and have gotten no reply.

6) How expensive VMK is. We wouldn't have so many Guest2,000,000+s if we could get more money easily!

7) Storage problems. Espicially with Pins.

8) Timing. If you had staff in our countries, you could have it 24/7!!

9) Annoying (And Pardon my L33t), N00bs on VMK. People sign up and have no idea what the rules are.

10) Da da, ma me, bay be, Animal etc. things. Ban it already!!!

11) people who threaten to report you for the dumbest stuff. Like saying if u dont top doing magic i will report u. well they should know that if u report for something stupid like that that they are the ones who will get in toruble for it bc it's not important

12)How vmk is always shutting down in the middle of the DAY

13) How when u wait in a queue of a billion people as soon as u get in the room u get disconnected

14)all the bugs in vmk

16)People who follow you around like lost puppies

17)people who keep asking questions after told them no

18)people who show off after u said to knock it off and that u dont care

20)when people ask a person who is afk a question. And if u tell them the person they're talking to is afk then they get an attitude

I could do without the "taken" talk. I just find it annoying as I am walking down Main Street and hear nothing but "r u taken".

I suppose what aggavates me the most is the dictionary. I simply do not understand what it is trying to do. lol. It allows evidently but not obviously. It allows lalalaness, 'nough said! lol. It also annoys me to see phrases like "I dont no wat u is saying." I don't know, it just annoys me lol. But like every annoyance, I must deal with it considering it is a free game that I could quit if I wanted to lol.

This "mummy" and "duh duh" talk is also very annoying! We don't need people pretending to have a baby in vmk. Okay, it's just wrong!! Now, I know some little kids people like to play "house" in real life and found it fun to play "house" in vmk as it is a game that requires imagination. However, it has gotten WAY out of control.

I absolutely can't stand how people "dictionary dance" to say inappropriate words and swears. I especially don't like reading, "you are such a beach."

Despite all that, I still really enjoy vmk! lol.
