There is a lot of talk about how many folks do not care for "thrill rides". Which ride would you never consider going on at WDW?

Alien Encounter........Not much into being scared to death and I've heard too many stories of feeling "trapped" in your seat. Seems too claustrophobic to me..........Mission Space looks soo good to me and I would hate to miss it but a few people said the claustrophobia word again associated with this ride!! Not sure about that one either!

I'm willing to try anything once - and so far there hasn't been one I didn't LOVE!

My hubby2b on the other hand is not the same way. He was quite hesitant about ToT and AE. However, I found a website called Digital Disney that has home movies of most of the rides. I was a bit concerened it would spoil the moment, but the alternative was him not riding them at all. After seeing the videos (not the best quality but still...) his fears were calmed and he is willing to go on them for our honeymoon.

Not exactly a "thrill" ride but just can't do It's a small world again....Once was clearly enough for me!

As for actual Thrill Rides: I FEAR NOTHING!!

So far I have loved all the rides that I have tried. Especially ToT, even though I am terrified of heights. But I am a little nervous about Mission Space. DH went on it and was so green when he got off. I am so scared that I will be the one to get sick while on it.

Alien Encounter!

On our recent trip I let DH try out some of the "bigger" rides before I went on them.
When DH got off of ToT, RnR, and especially Mission: Space, he was bubbling with excitement and wanted me to go on each of those rides! When he came out of Alien Encounter, all he said was, "That's just WRONG"! Needless to say, I skipped Alien Encounter!

It would be a shorter list if I told you what I WILL ride! :teeth: ;)

I refuse to ride Alien Encounter for most of the reasons already listed. I also really am not sure I'll ever do RNRC or TOT because they are not something that even interests me. I will ride just about everything else, though I might skip IASW this trip lol:o

Star Tours ~ Tried it once never again. Had the worst case of motion sickness that I have ever had in my life.

Rockin' Roller Coaster, SPace Mountain and, from all that I've been hearing, probably Mission Space.

Im usually up for anything, but I have a hard time seeing myself on Kali River Rapids. I hate being wet and if I have to walk around the park soaked, Ill be miserable. Maybe some day on our way out of the park?

The trick for doing Star Tours is when you start to feel a little queasy close your eyes. The illusion of movement is broken and you can still hear the ride and feel the bumps.

Star Tours and Body Wars! Once was enough on each of those. They make me so sick--it's just not worth it. I also have no desire to do Alien Encounter. ;)

Rockin Roller Coaster....although I probably would have a few years back!

I've only been on Space Mountain once and it did not leave me with a warm and fuzzy feeling  I think that's probably because I was in the front seat and I could sort of see the track in front of me....or not! So even though I knew when we were in for a dip, it didn't make it much easier. I can say I did it, but there'll be no repeat performances!

Same here! Even if I am scared silly about the ride looks, I will still go on, just to try it! I absolutely love thrill rides! :)

I don't know, but I refuse to ride Alien Encounter not cause of it being claustrophobic or too intense, but because they have toned it down so much since it opened it is now so boring!

Maybe when they add Stitch to it I will try it again since he is my favorite Disney character.

I'll ride anything but Star Tours and Body Wars! The motion simulators just about kill me!:(

Well, roller coasters give me motion sickness, so there are quite a few rides at WDW that I haven't/won't ride. Let's see, there is Big Thunder Mountain, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Mad Tea Party, Alien Encounter, the Barnstormer (yep, it's that bad, LOL!), Test Track, Mission: Space, Body Wars, Tower of Terror, Rockin' Roller Coaster, Star Tours, Dinosaur, Kali River Rapids, and that roller coaster in Dinoland USA. One of the things I love the most about WDW is that there are so many attractions that aren't thrill rides. :earsgirl:
