Anything dealing with children or animals. Love them both.
I did ask to volunteer to take care of the elderly after my parents died, ended up with a paying job. I just can't do that anymore, they keep LEAVING me....
I would love to run a children's theatre for the kids in the city. I helped do that in New Hampshire, but here I do not know the ropes or where to find the help. Maybe someday
I'd volunteer for CASA (child advocate.) Hopefully next year, when my dd is in preschool, I'll be able to start this. I've wanted to do it for a few years now, but haven't been able to yet. I'd also like to do work against domestic violence.
I would love to be a foster parent. I'd even adopt if I could. I wish there was something I could do to help some of those poor children in Haiti. I'd really just like to make a big difference to people in need somehow.
I help in his class, I work school score, I coordinate the cartridge/toner/cell phone recycling, paper recycling, campbells labels for education and a local grocery store fundraising program.

I would do more with a rabbit rescue shelter if I had the time. I fostered three homeless bunnies last year (and adopted two of them!) but I would love to be able to go in once or twice a week and take care of the bunnies.
I volunteer for the Visiting Nurse Association, even though I know nothing about nursing. Every year they hold a huge rummage sale to raise money, and I volunteer there - sorting, pricing, selling, whatever they need! It's a lot of nitty-gritty work, but a lot of fun too! We are literally out in a field in tents and barns for a month getting ready for the sale! I usually work 60 plus hours in that month volunteering.
I wanted to volunteer for years, and now I finally coud since it fits my work schedule.
