Hi-- just trying to plan and wanted to see what you all thought of two new (since we've been there) attractions.. what do you think of Goofy's Country Dancin' Jamboree and Mickey's Philharmagic? What would you rate each on a scale from 1-5 (5 being the best)?

thanks!

I have not seen Goofy's Country Dancin' Jamboree , but I would give Mickey's Philharmagic a 5. "Not To Be Missed" Everyone in my family just loved it. It was wonderful.

Same here-- haven't had the chance to fit in Goofy's Jamboree yet. However, Philharmagic is a solid 5 in my book!!!

I agree about Philharmagic. Definitely a 5!

Goofy's Country Dancing is about a 3 - if you have kids and can laugh and enjoy watching them dance around. We went on our last trip and my 2 yr old loved it. My 7 yr old thought it was a great time for him to take a rest - he didn't really get into dancing with Woody and the gang. If you really want to see Bull's eye and Jessie - this is one of the only places to do so. They don't do a meet and great but you can get pictures of them dancing around. I enjoyed this really only because my dtr really liked being able to dance and I enjoyed her excitement.

We skipped the Goofy Countrt Dancing since our DDs are 11 and 16, but we all loved Philharmagic. It is the best 3-D event that I've every seen. Don't miss it!!!

We loved the Philarmagic and my kids are teens and still we did it twice! It is a real Disney moment. It rated 5!

Goofy was cute and you sit on the floor and can get real close to the characters. It is not very long but it was good for little ones. My teens were not that gun oh but if it is new we do it. Looking forward to doing it with the little ones of the family next May when we do the family first trip! This is one thing that the stage is right there and they get in the middel of the floor, so if you want to see them up close make sure to get in front of stage on the floor or right where the goofy head is in the midddle of the floor that is where the characters dance at.

Philharmonic is a 5 - awesome !

Goofy Jam - well my kids who are 10 and up.............were thankful they were sitting on balcony (in a chair and away from the kiddies) and appreciated the air conditioning.

If you have preschoolers - probably a 4/5, young elementary kids maybe a 3, older than that 1.

5 for Philharmagic, from me also. By the way, if you want to possibly meet Jessie for a picture and autograph, sometimes she's at Al's Toy Barn at MGM. This past December we got one picture with Jessie, Buzz, and Woody!

Also agree abput Philharmagic. It is awesome. I was sad when it ended. My entire family loved it. Haven't been to Goofy's Jamboree.

Phillharmagic is simply AWESOME!!!! I could see it agian and again!! Haven't done the other yet!

We missed Goofy's Country Dancin' Jamboree but 13 out of the 14 of us visiting in June gave Mickey's Philharmagic a 5!!! Only DD4 did not enjoy it as much--the first time we saw it we had to sit on the second row and it was pretty loud. She did sit through it twice, though. Even Grandma and Popo loved it!!

Where is Mickey's Philharmagic? This is new since our last trip.

Philharmagic is fantastic. It's a 10! lol

Dh & I went twice the same day it was so good.

You catch things you missed the first time by going again....we can't wait to see it again next spring!

We didn't bother with Goofy's CDJ, but maybe next time?

Where is Goofy's Jamboree? It didn't replace the Country Bear's Jamboree, did it?

No, sadly it replaced the Diamond Horseshoe Review, which I really miss. I don't have kids so I don't see myself attending the new show any time soon.

I guess I'm the lone descenter regarding Philharmagic. We have seen it twice, and for some reason, I am not overly impressed. I'd rate it a 3.

Goofy's Jamboree would be great for small kids. I was hoping it was a little more show....it was a lot of interactive dancing. Again.....great for little ones!

Mercy -
Mickey's Philharmagic is in Fantasyland. It replaced the Lion King show.

Someone here mentioned sitting on the floor for Goofy's jamboree. Does *everyone* have to sit on the floor?

Is sitting on the floor optional ? Do they have a enough seating?

We attended Goofy's Jamboree with DS's ages 4 & 7 and would rate it a 1. Our kids were not interested in dancing, and we were very glad that we were upstairs in the balcony as we could at least use the time as a rest break and stay sitting in our chairs. Everyone downstairs was sitting (on the floor) and was made to stand once the characters came out and the dancing started. We saw many people leaving once they realized they couldn't sit. We'll definitely skip it our next visit! If you have young children who enjoy getting up and dancing and you enjoy watching them, then this would be good for you, but I'd recommend anyone else to skip it.
