What Would You Most Like to See Added Or Changed in the Parks?

For me, it’s the completion of Avengers Campus with that big E-ticket attraction, hopefully something I can still ride. Next would be a quality show in the Hyperion…doesn’t have to be RTM but something worthwhile to draw in crowds. Third would be a redesign of that whole back area where Monsters is…that could be relocated and that whole area redone.

What is your wish/desire/suggestion?

Who knows…maybe someone will read this and go…”oh, yeah…that’s a great idea!”

I would love to see more classic Disney rides particularly a re-theme of the current Winnie the Pooh ride that invites guests into the 100 Acre Wood. I would also be thrilled to have Candlelight be offered for at least a week and be made more public the way it is in Florida. And, of course, a return of the PeopleMover just a safer version, of course.

Expansion of the Treehouse to accommodate a Jungle themed restaurant. Maybe a quick serve bbq spot in that transition spot between BTMRR and SWGE. A real Saloon near the Shooting Gallery or retheme Golden Horseshoe a bit. I know the adult beverage things stirs a lot in most, but I think that would really fit with the theming in there. And for the love of Disney, bring back the Billy's.

Bring back staying overnight in the parks, through contests or per usual special paid events.

Could you imagine a Ghost Walking Tour after dark during Halloween Time and then spending the night in the HM? I could. Or something similar in December, Walking in Winter Wonderland after Dark .

SWGE really needs another E ticket ride.

I second bringing back a quality musical theater production to the Hyperion! I really wish they'd go back to having entertainment that was both a nice experience and a people remover (LOL). Those shows certainly helped reduce the overcrowding.

I'd love to see an attraction that was a new concept and not linked to a movie franchise. HM, Space Mt, and Pirates were rides before they were movies and I don't remember Matterhorn ever being featured in a movie. I was disappointed when Tower of Terror was replaced with Guardians, though I do think the ride is super fun. It just seems like every new ride is tied to movies and not an original concept. Of course, it would probably be turned into a movie anyway :teeth:

I would love to see gift shops having specific land and/or attraction merchandise again. It's boring to see the same generic, dull merchandise in every. single. store. regardless of the land or ride. Increased quality of the merchandise would be great as well, especially given the price. I would greatly appreciate if my $40 t shirt didn't completely disintegrate after 1 wash, thanks.

I so agree! Because it seems the new movies are coming out so fast, they don’t really become classic in the way that films did during the 50s, 60s, and even 70s (though that wasn’t a great decade for Disney films) because we just weren’t bombarded with material like nowadays. I love the idea of something ORIGINAL !

Amen to that!

I, too, would like to see something done to change the Candlelight Processional. Though I’ve not seen the one at EPCOT, I’ve been by there when it was happening and just stood and watched a bit from outside. It’s a great location. Maybe they could move it to that theatre back by ToonTown so people could actually sit and enjoy it and it wouldn’t clog up Main Street. I fear now it has become to steeped in tradition as to “this is how we do it at Disneyland “.

Do something with Tomorrowland! So much wasted space! Put in a new 3D movie where Captain EO used to be or bring it back for a nostalgia factor. Put something in the Innovations building that’s with seeing or tear it down and build something new. Either fix the People Mover or get rid of the tracks.

So much empty space…wasted..😞😢

I've never seen it but have heard it's amazing. I always go the week after Candlelight and purposely avoid that weekend. That would be my concern with extending the dates--I just don't want to deal with the crowds, but maybe it would spread them out? They'd also have to get several noted guest speakers if they expanded the dates I guess?

My daughter was invited to be in the choir once but she had another commitment and couldn't do it. I would have gone that year LOL.

Gustin posted that on Sunday, August 11, Disneyland put out that they are looking for vocalists for Mirabel for a limited-run entertainment offering at DCA. I'm not sure if it is for the Hyperion or maybe something in Paradise Gardens.

This would be my request too! Tomorrowland is currently in a very sad state of affairs. The land needs more movement, like Walt originally envisioned.

In particular, the skyway was amazing. I only got to ride it once as a kid just before it closed and remember being so amazed (and scared)! I never got to ride the People Mover, but that would also be welcomed...or please, just remove the tracks. I know the tracks are damaged beyond repair, and it would be an expensive fix with all of the infrastructure running through the land... But, I would much prefer a revamp or refresh of Tomorrowland before they expand with Disneyland Forward.
