What would you like to see changed at DVC.

I would like to see the giving out of handicapped rooms to people who did not ask for them to be stopped. It never happened to me but they tried once. I think it should be a hard and fast rule that they not be given out without the member asking for them. I don't think that should have to be a concern to the membership when we check in if we are going to get one or not. I think the time has come for this to happen. If it means a little loss in revenue so be it. Is there any changes you would like to see??:D

I would love to see the member's website changed so we can request our reservations online and change existing reservations online, including our preferences for non-smoking and non-handicap. I would love to see where the "open villas" were and make plans accordingly (similar to what we have with Interval and being able to select with instant confirmation). That would allow us to see when a favorite time is filling up and whether we needed to get our reservations in. Perhaps not as many members would immediately grab a reservation at 11 months at their home resort and change it later if they were able to see that the resort they really wanted was going to still be available.

Boy I'm with you, on-line ressies would be great. To be able to see what is happening with ressies would really useful, and probably cheaper to operate than the phone system. It would appear just about every major hotel chain can do, so why can't we? The phone calling is nice but inconvenient. I work all day and making ressies in the evening and very early morning would be easier for me.

Another change is: On-site hotel guests or DVC members staying on site would be given/could apply at front desk/at check-in for fastpasses for one park per day for all the rides. This would allow you to arrange your touring schedule before you leave your hotel rather than having to race around the park trying to get fastpasses. Now, that's a perk!

Better pass discount. Selection of day of our stay you want your T&T/cleaning service.

How about selection of room online? That would be cool. A layout of the resort and you actually book your room--like you would with a plane seat. Probably not practical from DVC point of view, but that sure would be cool--1st come, 1st serve online.

I would like to see non-smoking become a guarantee instead of a request. If every other hotel can guarentee this, I don't see why Disney/DVC can't.

Yes, I agree...that would be an awesome perk!!

I agree with LisaR, non-smoking (or smoking) should be guaranteed.

I would also like to see towels supplied more often. I still am not convinced that it is costing us less in dues for everyone to throw four towels in the washer and dryer in their room each day, using all that water and electricity - than it would for the resort to do it in a centralized location. Seems like a better use of water and electricity, thus costing less in the long run.

I would like to see DVC put a halt to members who make a business out of selling their DVC points. I realize that sometimes it's unavoidable and I've sold points myself that came along with an add-on and were expiring in two months, but people who just make a business out of it really bother me. I think DVC should view them as competition and since it's their property they should shut them down.

On line booking!

I'm not sure how they could manage waiting lists with member access to booking, though. I have always been AMAZED by how well the DVC wait list works. I would never want to lose that privilege.

I would like to see a penalty assessed to anyone smoking in a NS unit.

We recently stayed at a beach timeshare and there were signs posted in several places that you would be charged $500 to clean a NS unit if you smoked in it. You also had to sign an agreement at check in stating you understood the NS policy.

I would also want Disney to adhere to this and stop putting guests who request Smoking in a NS unit and tell them its ok to smoke on the patio or balcony.

There are a few things I would like to see. On being for sure on line ressies. I would also like to see an online account of where you could see your point balances and bank them or borrow them all on line.

I know this will upset smokers but I would love to see Disney go smoke free entirely. There are always a few that have to break the rules and smoke where they are not suppose to and therefore ruin it for others.

And last but not least I really would like to see Disney enforce rules and penalize those who break them. Such as loud noise, more people in a room that what is allowed, smoking in areas that are prohibited, littering and etc. Maybe penalizing those who are DVC members by loss of some points for a year would make people who rent out points to just anyone a little more accountable.

Improved web site (up to WDW standard) plus online account management and reservation capability.

Non smoking as a guarantee and stricter enforcement of no smoking in non-smoking units.

A simple discount program good everywhere, all the time while on property.

Permanent fast passes for DVC members.

100% smoke free as well

More Frequent or dedicated (not including S&D) bus service at the BWV and BCV locations

More cost transparency

Just update the content on the web site - do not invest $$$ on my behalf on making it an E-Commerce site

thanks

Smoke-free? YES, definitely.

Rudeness-free? Moron-free? Impossible.

A no smoking policy in all rooms of WDW. An AP for DVC members at Florida rates. A better website with account managment features. :smooth:

....In some regard I agree with your "No HC" policy but is leaving those rooms empty the best choice. Maybe a policy of MS telling us when we try and make a ressie that the only thing availible is an HC room & letting us decide for ourselves.

But what I would like to see is a "One time guarantee" of getting exactly what you want. Maybe someday I'd like to plan the perfect 50 anniversary getaway, or maybe a honeymoon trip for my kids. Maybe during a normal stay we happened to get our "perfect" room just by luck and someday I'd like to have it again. Whatever the situation, I think that something could be done better then the potluck situation we have now.

Count me in for the upgrading of the member website. I would love to be able to do on-line reservations and account management, both points and payments.

Totally smoke free rooms? YES!!!

A standard Disney-wide discount would also be cool (and most likey very profitable in the long run for the company).

Reduced rates on AP's and other forms of tickets would be great.

Better DVC member gear to purchase.

A monorail DVC resort.
