" Hey Knock It Off ! "![]()
I told her I didn't want to see her throwing my kids toys again. After I said it I thought it might have sounded harsh.
I guess I don't even understand why you're questioning your response or what we'd do. Kid throws something, parent/adult tells kid to knock it off (great phrase BTW. One of my parent's favorites). End of story. My kids have lots of toys outside, I see one of the neighbor girls throwing my kids toys in the tree and they land hard in the yard?? What would you have said if anything?

Kid does it again then toy gets taken away (if it's your own child) or kid gets sent home.
There's no need to psychoanalyze anything, question kid's motive for throwing toys, or speculate about the kid's homelife. Seems like a no-brainer to me.![]()
I was more looking for how people worded it more then anything. I was feeling like maybe the way I said ti was to harsh
