I got an ADR for Coral reef for our 1st visit in June. My son picked this resteraunt and is really excited about seeing all the fish. I think it looks really neat, but am worried the food is not that great. If anyone likes this resteraunt could you let me know what is your fav. thing on the menu.

*Our ADR ( hope they were good choices)
T REX
BOMA (breakfast)
Chef Mickeys(breakfast)
50' primetime
Ohana (dinner)
Le Celliar :woohoo:
Crystal palace (lunch)
Whispering canyon(dinner)

I love the food at Coral Reef. I had the steak there. OMG best flavored steak. so good.

I enjoyed the food as well! First time had steak, second time had ceasar salad- yum! And last time had chicken and risotto.

I had the Mahi Mahi, it was delicious. My husband had the catch of the day which happened to be grouper and it too was very good. Both were cooked perfectly. They also have green apple coconut drink there that is extremely tasty!

When we ate there, both DH and I had the strip steak and it was very tasty. Oh, and the chocolate wave dessert was to.die.for. Enjoy!! :goodvibes

DH had the mahi-mahi, I had the tilapia...both were very good. The Bailey's/Jack dessert is outstanding!

I had the steak -- it was wonderful. DH and older DD had the mahi mahi. DH loved it, older DD thought it was a bit too bland and wished she had ordered something a bit more exotic (my girls LOVE seafood). I can't remember what younger DD had, but I think it was the kids' mahi mahi? (This was two years ago...LOL). She liked it.

Favorite appetizer was the lobster bisque. Favorite dessert by far was the cheesecake. Oh my goodness, it was amazing. In fact, the cheesecake is the only reason my girls are insisting that we eat at Coral Reef again on our upcoming trip!

I had the chicken with spaetzle followed by butterscoth creme brulee for dessert. DH had the grilled mahi mahi, ( I had a taste, it was delicious ) followed by the baileys chocolate mousse in a mug. My teenaged son had the steak dinner followed by butterscotch creme brulee for dessert. We all enjoyed this meal very much.

We ate at the Coral Reef in Novemeber and I can't remember what flavor the cheesecake is? Actually it is worse, I cannot remember a chesecake on the menu at Coral reef. lol

Been here a few times. Good food great atmosphere. Would definately go back.

I've had lunch at Coral Reef twice and had the bbq salmon sandwich both times.

Oh yes! We went there in 07' & loved it. The steak was the single best meal I had of the trip. When I first mentioned to dh I wanted to return to WDW he said if we can go to Coral Reef.

So yes we will be returning to Coral Reef :yay:

I had the caesar salad which was awesome and the fish of the day which was pan sauteed grouper over risotto and I loved it but the risotto had too much salt in it.
