What would you do?

Just curious which you would pick and why, here's the situation. Our family of 5 is staying 2 nights with my sister in Tampa. Saturday she's driving us to WDW and spending the day with us at a park then we'll all spend the night at a hotel my treat before she drops us off Sunday for our onsite week at WDW. Here's the 2 choices for Saturday night, we'll need 2 rooms (split up boys & girls so 3 people in each room).

#1. Howard Johnson Maingate East. These rooms are only $35 each, total of $79.10 which is very cheap, we usually pay this for just one room so it's a hard deal to pass up.

#2. Clarion Maingate West. I can get 2 rooms FREE with my choice rewards points. I have enough rewards right now for 5 free nights and we earn points every month with our choice cc.

Both are on W Irlo Bronson about 3-7 miles from WDW with Clarion being a bit closer.

We'll I'd probably go w/ the free rooms. Why not....

Both hotels are going to be no-frills budget places (We've stayed at plenty all over including Disney). But that's what you're looking for, and it's only 1 night. Since they are both going to be comparable, I think I'd go for free.

I think the Clarion is also much closer to WDW than hojo.

Haven't stayed at either, but free is good!
