What would you do??

Hoop de doo Revue or Parasailing?? I wanted to do HDR but my DH doesn't, he thinks it looks dumb but he said he would if we wanted to. My DD would like to go parasailing. I would like to do this as well. My Dh says no way but will go out on the boat with us and take pictures. So HDR is about $150 and Parasailing is about $150 (with AP discount). My DD9 doesn't care which one we do she is up for anything!! So what would you do??

ETA: DD and I are not big eaters and we are both picky HDR would be for the show not the food. TIA

I think I would do that parasailing..simply because you can see dinner shows anywhere (I know I know.. WDW ones are special)... but parasailing sounds so awesome and there isn't anything like it.

HDDR was cute...very slap stick. The food was OK..nothing overly special. I think the memories you would get form parasailing would be awesome and stay with you forever.

how old are your kids? can the 9yr parasail? i thought you had to be something like 16 to do that. if not, that would be a major part of the decision making for me.

I would do the parasailing. Sounds like you would all have a lot of fun... and great photos!!!!!

I was very surprised to learn that there's no minimum age for this -- the gal on the boat said they've had kids as young as 2 do it with a parent!

That is from allears.com it just says you need to be a certain weight. We would go up tandem (me and DD)

I would do the HDDR - but for the opposite reason of DVCJEN. We live about 45 mins from a lake with parasailing. Have thought about doing it, but really haven't been interested enough to make the trip. Dinner shows, however, are few and far away where I live. I think you should choose the thing that is the most exotic to you!!
