I have a 2 bdr booked at bcv for 5 days in may(5 adults and 2 children going) While on line viewing the II site I saw a trade for the bwv in a studio for one whole week the same time frame.I know how rare it is to trade into disney via II.
So this is the problem....the only options i have (due to points and accomidations)is book another studio at bwv using my dvc points and go from a 2bd to 2 studios but get a longer vacation and save the unused points for another trip.I just don't know if i will miss the two bdr. please help..

I'd never give up a 2 bedroom for two studios. You will miss the king sized bed. The full kitchen. The washer and dryer. The jacuzzi tub. And your two studios might not be anywhere close to each other. We just had two families (8 persons - 4 kids, 4 adults) in a two bedroom at OKW and had a wonderful time.

I don't think I'd want to give up the washer/dryer! That was a big factor for buying DVC for me. I hate wasting vacation time going back and forth doing laundry. When you have a child like my son who spills something on himself at just abut every meal, that washer/dryer is priceless!

Or you could get the studio and a 1 BR and ask they be together as a 2 BR. With the maint fee of what you're giving up in exchange, the exchange fee and the $95 resort services fee, I don't think you'd be doing all that well for the studio. Keep looking for a larger unit, say a 1 BR. Put in a search for when you want for a larger unit if you can.

I think this sort of falls under the personal preference heading, as I think it depends on what's more important to you. I would want those extra points to bank for next time more than I'd want the washer and dryer (laundry bags travel well for me and there's always the laundry room at the villas), but, that's just what I would choose. Good luck - and have a great vacation.

DeeCee, that's a nice picture in your signature!

I'd probably stick with the 2BR. I love the full kitchen, the W/D. I love feeling like I have room to "spread out" rather than feeling like I am in a hotel room.
