We have an unexpected trip planned this summer. We are visiting family in South Carolina and are going to do a side trip to WDW after we got a great rate at CSR. We were just there last summer and daughter hates major thrill rides (Everest, space, thunder)
We will be there Sunday to Thursday (husband won't let me extend it any further).
I have a 1 day ticket, undecided what else to buy.
Plan is drive Sunday, spend day at pool, eat at Ohanas.
We want one day at MK definitely, and are undecided about the other two days.
Husband wants to do Sea World but I wonder if its too much of a hassle and too much running around.
I don't want to give up an entire day at WDW.
Want to do AK (maybe half day), Epcot WS (probably half day), maybe HS and maybe Typhoon Lagoon.
Its just me, DH, and daughter who will be 9. its the first time it will be just the three of us.
Suggestions on schedule? It w ill be right after the 4th of July holiday.

As someone who used to not enjoy any type of thrill ride when I was little I would suggest going to the Animal Kingdom in the morning and seeing Finding Nemo and riding the safari. I would do this first since the early morning Nemo show is usually the least crowded and the earlier you go on the safari the more animals you are likely to see. Plus, there isn't a ton to do at AK so it is a pretty easy park to leave early without feeling like you haven't done everything. I would suggest going to another theme park after AK and not Typhoon Lagoon because of the time of the year of your trip (July) and the fact that you can swim at home if you want to. If your daughter really like Beauty and the Beast Hollywood might be a good choice because you could see the live show and also Voyage of The Little Mermaid. If shes not as much into the princesses Epcot could also be fun, especially if she is a Nemo fan.

I'd do Sea World for sure. It's such a great park, and is much more relaxing and slower paced that the WDW parks. If anyone in your family wants to go, I would highly recommend it. It's my whole family's favorite of all the Orlando parks.

We are doing a mini trip before Christmas week and only have the budget for two park days, and you'll see us hitting SeaWorld and the MK.

How early do you plan to leave on Thursday? If not too early you could go to the waterpark that morning. We did that once and it was a nice send off.
