OK, bear with me...this may sound like a silly question but I'm really torn...

we are going to Disney in May for my daughters 5th bday and so she can see her father who lives in Orlando....arriving on a Thursday, leaving on a Wednesday.
My daughter has an outfit picked out that she is calling her "bday outfit" and wants pictures with Minnie while wearing it.
I have us set up for breakfast at O'Hana on Friday morning and Chef Mickeys on Saturday. My son also has an appt at the pirates league on Friday afternoon.
In order to guarantee a picture of my daughter with Minnie, should I try to swap the two breakfast reservations? I called and the only time on that Friday for Chef Mickeys is really early....7:15am...or just try to snag one of her in the park that day?
Thanks!!!

So her birthday is Friday then? 7:15 is a great time. OHana might not be easy to get on a Saturday morning but if it is then I would switch.

Her birthday is Wednesday and Thursday is the day we are traveling. So Friday she wants to wear her birthday outfit. If we switch the two reservations, will the Wilderness Lodge provide transportation for the 7:15 time? I know we can take a boat to the Contemporary...I dont know what time everything starts running.

According to this...

It seems boat service starts at 6:45. But I wouldn't count on a forum post from years ago... Surely they can tell you the boat schedule on the phone. If they say it runs that early and for some reason it doesn't go till 7:00 or 7:15, it's not like Disney is going to turn you away from your breakfast when you're late cuz their transportation was late.

Just another perspective; since our family is composed of entirely "night" people, we would never even be able to make a 7:15 am reservation.

I found Minnie very easy to see at Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Epcot. You can get fast passes for both to avoid long lines. At animal kingdom they're at the little character spot on discovery island just before the entrance to Asia (Mickey and Minnie). In Epcot they're at the character spot in the walkway to get to the right side of future world (the land, the seas, and imagination). I think at that one, there were rarely lines when we went but you can fast pass. At that one was Minnie, Daisy, Donald and maybe Goofy?

At the Magic Kingdom Minnie is at Pete's Sideshow. Also fastpass-able.

For us very non-morning people, we would go the route of seeing them at the parks. I personally felt the character experience was nicer there, where they're not trying to get from table to table.

I agree with Krista. That is way early to get up and we would be tired out early if we did. Minnie is easy to find and I would use one of you FP to ensure a meeting. Just curious....what kind of outfit do you wear to meet Minnie? That is way too cute.

Is your son doing the Pirates League at the MK?
If so you could meet Minnie in Storybook Circus.
Of course, she is wearing pink there, so if your DD is planning a red polka dot outfit, then you may want to go w/ Chef Mickey's.

Minnie is easy to find at MK, you can even use a FP to make it easier. I would keep the existing reservations and just plan a time to head to the character M&G.

I'm pretty sure that the characters in Storybook Circus (Minnie, Daisy, Donald, Goofy) do NOT have FP+.

The only character meet n greets with FP+ at MK are:
Ariel in her grotto
Rapunzel and Cinderella in Princess Fairytale Hall (they each meet with one other princess - typically Snow and Aurora)
Mickey in Town Square
Enchanted Tales with Belle (not a true meet n greet)

Yeah, I was wrong that you can use fastpass for Pete's. However I will say that the wait for that never got over 30 minutes during our stay, even over MLK weekend. You can use FP+ for the other Minnie character spots in Epcot and AK.
