A am currently booked at ASMo for October 19th arrival. Since FD is top priority for our family, I want to cancel and switch to a different resort.

My ASMo trip is completely paid for and was booked before the price increases went into effect. Will I definitely lose that rate when I switch from ASMo to a different resort for Free Dining? I switched a few weeks ago (after the rate increase) from ASMu to ASMo and did not have to pay the new rates.

My other question is, am I better off canceling my package today for ASMo and rebooking online tomorrow at a new resort with FD? I'm a bit worried I won't be able to get through when the lines open tomorrow before I go to work and I don't want to lose out on our next resort choice. I REALLY don't want to get stuck at ASSp! If I cancel today and rebook tomorrow, how long before I'm refunded? I am more than 45 days out from our trip.

Thanks!

I'm confused, is ASMo excluded from the free dining offer? If so, I think it'd be a first. If ASMo is included in free dining, you don't have to cancel and rebook, you can just add the free dining to your reservation.

Rumors are yes, ASMo will be excluded from the FD offer.

Don't cancel anything until the offer is announced. There are a lot of rumors from different travel agents that are contradictory and confusing. Just wait and see what happens. Holding a reservation right now does not guarantee you free dining tomorrow. Only available rooms, not already booked rooms, will be available for free dining. It won't do you any good to book a room ahead of time.
