What would you do?

I currently have a BWV studio for the weekend of nov 16-19, i really want to stay at BLT or VWL, today availability popped up for Nov 16 and 17 but 18th is not available at BLT, i cannot book both and wait of the third nite due to having to borrow etc, etc, etc......would you cancel BWV, book 2 nites at BLT and hope the third becomes available? or just continue to play the waitlist game?

How much of a hassle will it be to move for the last night? If it's 2 adults, I would book the 2 nights at BLT and waitlist the third. If you have kids involved and it will be a hassle, I would keep BWV and continue to waitlist all 3.

What is your use year? You could borrow and bank current points if you are not close to your deadline.

11/18 is the Sunday before Thanksgiving and that night might be a tough one to get at this point, even if you only have a 1 night waitlist. Lots of members have that entire week booked and will most likely keep their reservations. But you could still get lucky!

If you are not willing to move for that last night, my advice is to just continue to hope the 3 night waitlist works.

I personally hate to move, but I'd be willing to take a chance in this case. (But I agree with DebbieB and wouldn't do it if there were small children in the party). If you go ahead and take a chance, be sure to check the online system once or twice a day, even though you have a waitlist. I just got lucky a few hours ago and snagged a 2 night BLT MK studio for the end of September - nothing has been available at BLT for a studio or 1 bedroom for my nights for the past few months. We're moving to the BWV after that, but I wanted to walk home from MNSSHP, so for that I'm happy to move, LOL.

moot point, gone that quick, def don't want to move so going to waitlist no matter what happens. BWV pool/garden not bad either way

If I were you, I would pay special attention atthe end of each month. Depending on people's UY that may have booked on a chance of going. They may make a descision when their 4 month booking window comes, or around the 30 day window. So keep watching and goodluck!

A bird in the hand ..... For a three night trip, a guaranteed three nights in one location, especially with kids is better.
