I'm not sure if this is the correct board to post this on, but here it goes! We are staying at Bonnet Creek 8 nights in June. I'm trying to decide if we want to do all 8 days at Disney with park hopper passes and be able to tour at a leisurely pace. We would also be able to enjoy the pools and activities avaliable at bonnet creek more OR do 6 days at Disney and 2 at Universal, which is our current plan. My children are 4 and 10 and would like to visit Universal, but I'm afraid there is not enough for them to do ( we don't do thrill rides) and we will be rushed at Disney and not be able to enjoy Bonnet Creek. We also will be able to save about $450.00 by just doing Disney. This isn't our first trip, and I'd like to do something new, but I'm having a hard time getting out of my comfort zone!! My husband of course is leaving it all up to me and is opinionless!!! What would you guys do?

We are in the same boat! We are leaving in 22 days for Bonnet Creek and I cant wait to see the resort! We finally opted for just 7 days at disney at our leisure. I couldnt decide if I really wanted to go to Universal, if the kids would like it, would we need to buy those front of the line passes, would there be any shade, would we be able to go back to the room at lunch- (I could go on and on).My kids would rather be at the pools anyway, so we opted out of universal. Since we have been several times to disney, we have opted to see Cique de Solei this year as a treat. (We've never been and it will still save me money vs, the cost of universal) Good luck!

Contrary to popular opinion around here, Uni is not a bunch of thrill rides with nothing for kids. It is just that Uni's thrill rides are real ones and Disney's are on the wimpy side.

There is plenty to do for kids at Uni.

I feel sorry for the kids whose parents don't take them there. They are missing out on a LOT.

Go to Uni.

Why not skip Disney parks this trip and just do universal, sea world and relax at Bonnet Creek? This option would save you the most money and it sounds like your family is ready for something new -- even if you aren't!

You can always go to Downtown Disney or eat at a nice resort to get some Disney fix.
