We want to stay from the 14th of June to the 23rd. We were hoping for CSR, but it doesn't have availability after the 20th. If we book the whole stay starting by the 14th, we get the spring room discount. BUT, we really wanted CSR and that would be out. So my choices are:

Book CSR for the first 6 nights with the discount (and 10 day park tickets) and then book a separate reservation for the last 3 nights room only.

OR

Book PO Riverside or FQ for the whole stay and then the discount applies to all nights.

THOUGHTS!?!? I am looking for a relatively quiet, peaceful resort with good pools and decent food (TS and QS). We are driving so transportation isn't a huge issue for us. We really don't want to put up with double beds...we want queens. TIA!

The only promo that carries through if you check in on the last day is free dining. If you check in on the 14th with the spring room discount, the discount only applies to that first night as that's the last day of the spring offer. All the other nights will be at rack rate.

that's not what the CM told me when I booked. :confused3 Our confirmation reflects the spring room only discount. I don't know what to think because I thought you were right until I called and they told me something different!

I guess the CM you booked with could have possibly given you the discount for the whole time. You could price it online and compare your reservation total with the online cost to see if there's a difference. Usually room discounts are offered only for the days in the promo and when I pulled up the spring offer online and put in your dates, the 14th was coming up with the discount while all the other nights were rack rate.

When we tried to book w/ the spring discount at POFQ arriving on June 14, last day of promo, we only got the discount applied for that one night. The CM told me repeatedly that I got it for the entire stay, but I quickly did the math and explained it to her. Sure enough, we only got it for the first night. The CM explained that wasn't usually how things work, but maybe WDW is changing its policy. I tried calling three other CMs to see if somehow, someone could get it applied for the entire stay. No luck.

they won't let me book this with my current pin,,, wonder if i'll be able to eventually with a a/p discount code,,,not going till Oct... I know its new, but still am hoping eventually, made a reservation for a lion king room

POR and FQ both have queen beds now too. They are both great resorts. POR is our fav moderate.
