What would you do???

I currently have two rental car ressie's for MCO and am trying to decide which one to keep,

Here are the details.

1) National compact-11 days, using disney club coupon and contract #---total with taxes = 303.61

2) Dollar compact-11 days,using entertain code , ---total with taxes 280.78


They are both pretty close in price-but to save 23.00 I would go with Dollar-is there any reason why perhaps I should go with National instead?? Does National charge for an additional driver?? I do have EA but couldn't use as only booking a compact-we won't pay to upgrade as we are trying to cut costs where ever we can. I understand the Dollar charges 5.00 per day for an additional driver-if that is the case then I will do all the driving-DH can navigate.

So what should I do???

You mean your are an EC member. You can still book a compact throught the EC and keep your husmand on a the no charge spouse driver.

Or you drive and let dear husband navigate and save the $20...

If you're looking for advice on which company is better, you'll hear good and bad on both. I have my own personal horror story about National and I'd never use them again, others swear by them. I've only used dollar once and that was a long time ago but we didn't have any problems. As I recall when we were booking thru National, we were going to be charged $25 for me to be an additional driver but that was for a weeks rental. This was just over a year ago so I'm sure rates have probably changed. If I hadn't had a bad experience with either, I'd go for whichever one was cheaper!
