I am hoping to find cheap airfair to CA this year. Last year they had one for 120 round trip with a sale. If i find that again..knock on wood.. I would go. I have 1 day Disney tickets that are left from years ago and have been told I can trade them in for Disneyland tickets. So I we could do one day there. Would you by a second day and do the CA as well? I don't really know if DH would want to do 2 days. He thinks DD should be taller before we go to the World again, so I assume his attitude will be the same here.
What else would you do? Universal? We have friends that we could visit as well. It would just be a short trip of a few days. Any suggestions on other sites to see?

I don't think there is a ton for little kids at Universal.

CA Adventure has Bugland which is great for little ones. There are some little kid rides at the Pier area and the Redwood Challenge area is fun. Plus, there is Monsters Inc and some shows. Your hubbie and you will have to switch off to ride the adult rides, but I think that overall you will have more to do than at Universal.

If you don't mind a little bit of a drive, Legoland is the best (better than Disney) for young children.

Or maybe you could go to the beach? Toddlers love to paddle in the sand.

We went to Legoland last January with ds 3.5 and dd 1.5 My son liked it, but dd was too short to go on almost everything, even though the rides were really tame. They just have a really conservative (and somewhat ridiculous) height restriction policy. DD was able to ride way more at Disneyland and the whole time we were at Legoland, we kept thinking we should have stayed at Disneyland. We went to Sea World the next day and that was very fun and worthwhile. I can't imagine we'll ever go to Legoland again, unless maybe we happen to move to that area and then get an annual pass, since it cost almost the same as the daily one (did I mention the park admission was really high?).
