What Would You Do?

O.k. here's my dilema:
We are doing our first cruise ever on Sept. 8 - 15. But we plan to fly to Orlando on Sept. 5. This gives us 2 entire days to do something. Here's the deal, We just did 14 days in WDW last June 2006. And mixed in 3 days of Univeral/IOA. It was a fantastic trip. O.K. with that said I have 2 full days. I checked prices at Universal, then I checked prices at WDW. For like $200 more I can do WDW with food included. But for only 2 days with a park hopper. Would it be too rushed? SHould I stick to Universal? What would you do? 2 days, full days. Hmmmm

I'd do the 2 days. It doesn't have to be rushed, just realize you will not get to do every thing. Pick your 2 favorite parks to go to and stick with them. Mine are Epcot and MGM, so I would spend a day at each. Some times the nicest visits turn out to be the ones when you really did one park s-l-o-w. You said if you do disney, you would do the dining. Try a new restaurant without having to rush through you're meal to get on a ride.

Enjoy

I agree with Eliza I would go to WDW and pick my favorite 2 parks not get hopper pases just base tickets and then enjoy those 2 parks at leasure enjoying your favorites. My DW and I did just that 2 years ago, flew done for a three day weekend jus the 2 of us and spent one day at MK and one at EPCOT. Had a blast

I wouldn't do either. I would maybe check out some other attractions at Orlando that you wouldn't normally hit. I have yet to do Sea World. But there is a ton of other stuff too. i would save money for the cruise. You can do the excursions and have extra $$$$ for buying stuff at your destinations!

Thank you all for your responses. I am really leaning towards WDW. I'm so glad to hear others would do that as well. Universal really raised their rates and funny thing is, if we stayed onsite with them and added food and transpotation it will end up being $62 more than 2 days at WDW. I also checked out other parks and thought about those as well. But the only one that really interested us was Discovery Cove, and we will be doing a dolphin swim on Cozumel, so I'd rather not do discovery cove. I appreciate all you opinions very much. Thank you again, and thanks for helping me make up my mind. WDW here we come.

We just did 2 days in WDW after our cruise in January. It was perfect! No rush, picked our favorite rides and really enjoyed the days. We ended the last morning with a character breakfast!! Perfect way to end the trip!:goodvibes
