Hi everyone, I am trying to figure out the best transport options for my family. We have a three year old and a 5 month old. We need to get from MCO to GF then GF to Portofino and then Portofino to MCO. Was thinking of using the mears shuttle to get to GF to avoid car seat issues but I am at a loss at how best to get to universal and then to mco. I don’t think two car seats are an option with Uber/Lyft.

  1. Bring 2 car seats. Use them on the plane. Use them on taxi or ride share.
  2. Use a car service which is willing to supply 2 car seats.
  3. Use Mears to get to GF Use Universal superstar pbh to mco. Not sure about luggage you could book.Mears bus from gf to Universal then bus from Universal to pbh

The best, safest and most comfortable option for you and your kids is going to be to bring your own seats from home. If you can find Uber Family, it only has one seat and may not have enough space for the assuming four of you. Theoretically you could get two, but I have no idea how difficult that is to get. Your three year old is going to find the ride much better in their own seat than sitting by themselves in the airline seat.

We got 2 carseats using Tiffany Town Car van. I see they also have that option for the SUV. Easier than bringing your own. Their service is great.

Rent a car.

We used Tony Hinds when we needed 2 car seats. (Search on this board). Great for to and from the airport. Not sure if he goes from GF to Universal but worth emailing. He even did a grocery stop on the way from Airport to Pop Century which was nice.

When my children were of car seat age we brought two. We bought them airline tickets even when they were under two years. We used the car seats on the plane and in the rental car. Be safe.
