What would you do Labor Day Weekend? Which parks would you absolutely avoid?

I am still having a hard time figuring out which parks to schedule for Saturday and Sunday of Labor Day Weekend. Are the parks usually jammed on these days? Are the water parks an option for one of these days, or would we be crazy to attempt one? We know that the MK will be open late (11:00 on Saturday and 10:00 on Sunday), but are not sure it would be worth trying to tackle the crowds. Any advice?

I go Labor Day all the time. I would not pick MK on the Saturday of Labor Day.

We are going Labor Day weekend too and definitely avoiding MK on that saturday and probably sunday too as with the holiday local visitors will be visiting MK.

We are going to MGM, AK and Epcot over that weekend and leaving MK till maybe tuesday.

Thanks for the replies...I was beginning to feel like a thread killer! Anyway, I've also read on other threads that MK wasn't that bad last Labor Day Weekend on Saturday. Wonder why the parks are open so late if the crowds aren't that bad, though! I guess we'll just have to play it by ear.

We were at WDW over Memorial Day; extrapolating to assume that the same conditions would exist for Labor Day, the only parks I would avoid are MK on Saturday and Epcot on Sunday. Epcot is EMH on Sunday but everyone runs for Mission Space and Test Track, and at least on the Sunday we were there, nothing else ride-wise was open, so you really didn't get any big "bang for the buck" by going early. I'd do MGM or AK instead on Sunday for that reason. We did BB on a Saturday; LOTS of locals who know what/where they are going so get there at 9:30ish so you can be close to the front and get a reasonably shaded area (those go VERY quickly). If you miss out on the shaded areas, you will ROAST! Hope you have a terrific trip :D

We went during Labor Day last year and none of the parks were too crowded. It was really nice.
