You and your family had the Magic Kingdom to yourselves for one day?
Can you just imagine what fun that would be? :thewave:
I know I would start out on the train, then start at Adventureland go to Frontierland, Fantasyland, Tomorrowland and finish up on Main Street and watch Wishes at the end of the night.
Of course that would be after each and every ride was done by us. :rotfl:

How cool would that be??

Every single ride would be ridden at least twice. You could have a character meal at every meal. Watch all the parades right as they are starting, without having to save a place or have someone shove their child in front of you at the last minute. And then yes to watch wishes from anywhere in the park you wanted to see it from!!

Ahhh, but part of the fun is people watching!

How about a DIS-only day at the parks? That way there would be enough of us to make it fun, and few enough to make it uncrowded and no lines.

Yeah, I'd find it kinda boring if it were just me and my family. I like the DIS and family idea. :)

I agree that it would be more boring without all the people-watching. But, if I have to decide on a plan, it would be to SLOW DOWN and really look around. Of course, the rides with no lines would be great but I think it would be a good opportunity to take it all in without rushing from place to place.

We felt close to that the night of the DVC Member Homecoming at the Magic Kingdom. There were only 2000 people in the whole park. We walked on to everything and if you wanted to ride again you did. It was fun!

A DIS only night would be a blast!

We experienced that after midnight on New Year's Eve 1999/2000. Being the millennium new year, they told people if they left the park they would not be guaranteed re-entrance. Magic Kingdom was at capacity early in the morning. By 5 or 6pm people were sleeping on every available surface!

DH and I rode Splash Mountain at 5:30 and had to purchase the picture because, here we were in Magic Kingdom with the park at capacity and the log in front of us was empty as were the 3 logs behind us. People were just too tired to do the attractions!!

Fireworks were at midnight and EVERYBODY left, even though the park was open until 2am. We stayed and did all of the rides until 2. We laughed and said "we're not waiting in the line for Dumbo because it is too long" - There were only 8 people ahead of us!! That was the longest line of the evening!

I'd invite others in - like Make-A-Wish or other groups like that...but not too many....then just go crazy and ride everything, as many times as possible!!!

:wizard:

A DIS only day at MK - that would be fantastic!!

How would we go about organizing that? ;)

I don't think it would be boring at all....I would do cartwheels down Main St....all day long!

Relax........................................................

And ride SM a lot.......................
