my boyfriend really wants me to come over his house today, but i really dont want to go.

i need to buy more clothes, and i was hoping i could get my hair cut. also--- I JUST STARTED MY PERIOD. how can i go to his house--for the 1st time-- and have to run to the bathroom every thirty minutes?

but i tried to tell him i couldnt come, and he was really upset.

so now i dont know what to do.

help? please?

Just explain it to him. He will understand. It's things they learned in 6th grade.
No need to worry about it, he will understand. I had to do it once, & he fully understood.

well, thanks.

thats what my friend said, too, but i think that would just sound like whiney excuses.

How old are you?

Can you explain to him what is going on? He probably thinks your just blowing him off, and you are not!

It doesn't hurt.

Use a tampon. That way you dont have to go that often to the bathroom.

well, were both juniors, so i know he would comprehend. i just dont know how much he would really understand.

that would be a great plan, but on heavier days, i go to the bathroom all the time, even with a pad and a tampon, so it wouldnt help much.

Really? I'm heavy too but my tampon lasts two hours. Maybe a medium sized one?:confused3

Just tell him even though you love spending time with him there's some other things you have to do today. Promise you'll make it up to him and he can hang out next weekend.

IMO, don't tell him you have your period. I think its TMI
