What would you do....Epcot day(s)?

Currently I have 1.5 days scheduled in Epcot for our June trip: a Monday AFTER our 10am Cape May breakfast and an early RD Wednesday AM. If both FEA and Soarin are not open by then, I will easily change the Wednesday half day to something else. But, if only 1 of those are open, I'm not sure what I want to do. It is looking more and more like Soarin will NOT be open, but, I suppose, FEA is a possiblity.

If it is open, I'm assuming that both TT and FEA will be Tier 1 and therefore cannot be scheduled for the same day. We are not really interested in MS, so no issue there. If we change the half day to something else, that's one day for both TT and FEA with no RD and only allowed a FP for 1 of those. I know there is a single rider line for TT, but I'll have my 4.5 yr old with me and he has to ride with an adult.

What would you do? Keep the half day just to be able to get in both attractions with a FP? Change the half day to something else and FP FEA and standby TT (I don't know that we can wait that long with a 4.5 yr old though). Skip TT (its not a huge favorite but it is a fun ride that we like and I think my 4.5 yr old would like, plus we won't be back for a couple to a few years).

Obviously this all may be for naught, because FEA may not open for our trip but I just thought I would float the question just to see the responses. TIA!

I would do the Monday and plan on being there all day. You could schedule your Tier 1 FP for after the breakfast. You could schedule 2 others for early morning before the breakfast for just something you aren't interested in and let them expire. Then after you do your Tier 1, you can book your 4th FP for the other Tier 1 you wanted to ride if you don't want to do standby. You might find the standby line to not be too long and then it wouldn't matter and you can just cancel the FP or schedule it for something else. I'm going to assume you are going to want to do Nemo and Turtle Talk and maybe Figment as well? We spend all morning in FW but we like to ride living with the land and spend at least a hour just looking at the fishes and love to ride SSE. I'm also going to assume you are going to want to do some of WS, even if it's just to walk around a little and see the different countries. They have the little kidcot stations set up in every country and a cast member from that country works them so it would be good for the little one to talk to them (plus mom and dad could get a refreshing adult beverage if they wanted). You can always then do your half day rope drop later if you find you didn't get everything done, you should be able to catch TT then if needed.

Since you won't even get into the park till noon on your full day, I'd add the half day. You won't be nearly as rushed getting around WS, and you'll have 6 FP each to use instead of just 3, meaning you can skip nearly all of the standby lines.
