I referred my sister to Boomertowne and she signed up, though she isn't doing much. Yesterday, I saw a friend request with a name that reminded me of my 14 yr old niece so I looked at the profile after accepting and it is her. She says on the profile that she's 18 and I looked at her posting on the discussion board and it's obvious (to me at least) that she's not a mature adult and shouldn't be posting. Also, she nominated another BT member for Jail saying she made inappropriate comments. I looked the other member up and everything on her profile (she's also on my friend list) looked ok.

So, do I mention this to my sister (we're not that close and we live far away), say something to me niece, or just mind my own business. Or, turn her in to BT?

I'm wondering if my sister referred her to try to get more points.

By the way, I looked at her myspace page too and she's lying about her age there too though she says she's 16.

Sorry this is long.

Any wise and sage advice from BTers? ;)

I would DEFINITELY bring this up with Sis. With all of the online predators out there, she needs to know exactly what her daughter is involved in. Lying about her age online is NOT a good thing and if I were her mom, I would definitely want to know. You just can't be too careful these days.
