We’re looking at options to book onboard our upcoming cruise. We’re looking at sailing in late August. Would you do a 3-night that goes to Castaway twice or a 4-night with the regular Bahamas itinerary? They’re about the same price right now.

I am with Princess Shmoo! Longer is better. I would stay for 2 weeks if they let me :)

The four night for sure. Spend the day on the boat instead of going to Nassau.

We have only done 5 night and 7 night cruises. So, I voted for 4 night.

Three nights always feels ridiculously short. This is probably the only time when I'd vote against a double dip.

Unless there is some specific reason why you think you'll really want an immediate rerun of your Castaway Cay day (and nothing wrong with that if you do- obviously some people like that), then I vote for the 4-night. A day at sea is an important part of the cruise experience, imo.

This borders on heresy here--maybe it's because I grew up on an island, YMMV--but Castaway is just a beach to me. A nice beach with good snorkeling, but a beach nonetheless.

There are a lot cheaper ways to go to the beach than a Disney cruise--4 nights is the way to go.

Longer time away is much - MUCH more better-ahhh!!! :teeth:

Adding my two cents: I love Castaway Cay, but I never have left it thinking "gee, I didn't have enough time to get everything done" We always had plenty of time to do whatever we want to on Castaway Cay. Two days in a row is not necessary to enjoy the island.

The nice thing about an extra day and CC is that you can do an excursion on day and the beach on another. I would have chosen this if both were the same length, but I will always choose the longer cruise otherwise.

We're doing a B2B 3 day, 4 day on the Dream then a B2B 3 day, 5 day on the Fantasy. See ..... 3 day is never enough!
