What would you choose? (Princess-related)

We have done Ariel's Grotto breakfast twice and really loved it..great interaction..didn't fee at all rushed, very fun.

I just want to bring up one caution about Ariel's Grotto. It's pretty packed in there, especially if you sit at the tables in the middle, which we did both times we took our nieces.

Because of that, I don't have any pictures of the girls with the princesses without a strange family eating in the background! Kinda ruins the effect!

I'm always jealous when folks post their PFF pics with the lovely fairy tale backgrounds. But that said I know my family wouldn't have the patience to wait it out at PFF. And we all loved the experience of Ariel's Grotto. My DH particularly loved that he could enjoy a beer to get him through the process! :rotfl:

I hear you on this one! I love character dining, but it's very difficult to get photos without any strangers, chairs, cups and straws, or dirty plates in your picture. (Also sometimes my kids are too busy eating to get up for a photo!) I also prefer to meet characters outside because the light is always so much better. I particularly hate the light in AG where you meet Ariel - it is dark and requires a flash. Those never come out well. We were very excited to see Ariel at PFF last month!

We were in Disneyland last week. We went to Aerial's Grotto for the Princess Lunch and to Minnie and Friend's Breakfast.

We all preferred the Minnie and Friend's Breakfast. The characters were very interactive. There were also more of them. It was also cheaper.

This was for a 3 year old girl. Although she liked seeing the princesses, she had a lot more fun at the breakfast.

fyi they do try to sell the photo the photopass photog takes with Ariel but you can easily say no thank you. AND they do let you use your personal camera to take photos, once we ate there and the photog asked if DBF and I wanted to be in the picture too, she was offering to use our camera to take a family photo. We said no but I thought that was very nice of her. They've always made sure we had enough space for our Ariel photo but we have purchased the professional shots a few times as well.
