I know Disney is pretty close to perfect now but what is something they don't offer now that would make it absolutely perfect?

I think Disney should have it's own airport and airline so that way you could fly directly into Disney and leave directly from there so your entire vacation experience is entirely Disney....

Anyone else have any suggestions?

They should offer me a place to live, preferably inside the Magic Kingdom, free of charge. That would be perfect!

A bit more realistically, but still a dream world, they should have monorail service to all of the parks and all of the resorts.

Truly affordable on-site lodging for families with more than 2 kids would be a good addition also (maybe the rumored value suites?).

like Walt had planned for EPCOT. No more problems with heat, rain, hurricanes etc.

I think Disney should offer something like a "best guest" program. Depending on how much money you spend on your vacation you could earn special things like spa treatments, tours, or meals- it would be great! I could just picture it now- "gee, if I just bump us up to Poly LVC AND buy AP's we could go on the wishes cruise for free"--- ooohhhh- come to think of it, maybe this isn't such a good idea ;)

I think it would be cool if each guest, upon check in at a WDW resort, were given a fastpass useable at any time and at any of the four parks during the length of stay. That is, one fastpass for each night's stay for each registered guest.

For example: A family of four staying at a WDW resort for three nights would receive 12 fastpasses good at any park, at any time, during the period of their stay at the resort.

Talk about increasing the number of people staying on site. Wow!

Enjoy.

I agree with the monorail system being available to most/all resorts and parks. It is such a time saver, especially if you are only there for a quickie trip. I wonder how long it would take to see something like that through to fruition and how it would impact the overall operations of the resorts/parks. It would be quite the undertaking ::yes::

If reality wasn't a part of the equation... I'd want free admission to the parks, and a MNSSHP-size limit to the daily visitors (but I'd always be able to get in :teeth: ). Also, I'd make it possible for us to get there in less than 4 hours.

If I have to be more realistic, I'd say that I'd like to see the rates for the resorts go down a bit. The only way we can afford a Deluxe right now is to go for only a night or two, or rent DVC points. also, with the popularity of the Dining Plan, it would be really nice to add some more TS restaurants on property.

***Oh! Forgot to add that the "monorail to all the resorts and parks" is a GREAT idea!!!***

I really like the "best guest" program idea!! I just e-mailed it to Disney. Maybe if enough people show interest, they may consider it!!

I absolutly agree on the Monrail, atleast expand it where its feasible, how about an EPCOT resort loop, (that's Caribbean Beach, Boardwalk and Yacht and Beach Club) and expanding the MK Loop to include Wilderness Lodge.

I also would LOVE to see a TOT Resort, near MGM, a haunted hotel but all year, and make it AFFORDABLE. It could be the first moderate with indoor corridors or possibly a "deluxe-moderate" like WL is.

I also think they need to add new attractions/rides to Magic Kingdom and MGM. MGM they need to loose that aweful sorcerer's hat that blocks the view of the Great Move Ride, and add possible an Indiana Jones ride like they have at Disneyland, or a ride of that type. They could also possible incorporate a mine ride, so it would be two rides in one. Im borrowing this one from the Imagineers :) I like it.

Think like Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.

With Magic Kingdom, they should bring back some sort of Submarine Ride, maybe no 20,000 Leagues under the sea, but something like that. Like again what they are doing at Disneyland. I also would like to see an upgraded Haunted Mansion.

Last, again pulling an idea from Disneyland it would be cool to see them do something with the Rivers of America like Fantasmic at Disneyland, that is the most amazing thing I have ever seen at a park.

The only thing I ever wished was that I could trot and canter the horses on the trail ride instead of just walking. Otherwise, I never wished for anything else!

I agree with the monorail comment.
The busses really suck. People are generally nice...but I cant help but feel like a sardine. bussing....doesnt speak 'vacation' to me.

Hehe. Thanks! I truly believe that if I knew I was earning "rewards" I would be apt to spend more!

I'm totally onboard with the monorail expansion, that would be great! The only other thing that would make WDW more perfect is a few more really cool E Ticket rides and I'm hopeful that E:E is the start to a nice run of great E Tickets.

a) 1 fast pass for each park per person on check in would be a great idea. heck even 1 fast pass per person to use anywhere is a great idea

b) earlier check in time maybe no guarantee to checkin prior 3 during peak, but in low to medium, they should be able to have this !

c) something on check in ie a pin per guest to get them hooked on pin buying and trading.

d) some incentive to reserve deluxe property . even if its something like buy 1 get 1 free adult character meal. i am not creative right now...but something! those paying the higher prices for the deluxe should get something extra for it.

e) another hotel built along the monorail

I'd love to see electronic displays at the bus stops telling you when to expect the next bus to wherever you're going and how long the trip will take. There are cities that do this now so it's not like there's any magic involved with doing this.

This is a great Thread! With today's technology, here's some things that I'd like to see:

Rentable Hand-Held device that provides:

GPS tracking tags for family members to wear. That way you could clip the tags to all the members of your family/party and be able to tell where everyone is at all times. (maybe even be able to text message party members)

Crowd Density Monitors. This would allow you to see where in the park the most people are concentrated.

Instant Updates on Ride wait times.

Ability to view menu's and place food orders ahead of time (remotely) at resturaunts to optimize down time during meals. The food would be ready when you sit down.

Internet connectability where you could check email and send IM's to other party members.

Cheaper prices (not complaining, but it would be nice)
Higher Standards (Again, not compalining, but it would be nice)
Another Theme Park - Another theme park would make the crowds less noticable throughout WDW. It would make our wait times at popular attractions shorter.
