Inspired by the Dream Wedding thread, what would your ultimate honeymoon be like. Mine would be a two-week stay at the Grand Floridian, followed by a seven-night Disney Cruise.

At WDW we'd spend the majority of the time at the theme parks, but we'd have a lot of fine meals, including Citricos, California Grill, Artist Point, Brown Derby, Le Cellier, Bistro de Paris, Wolfgang Puck, Cinderella's Royal Table, and of course, Victoria and Alberts.

This is a fun question!

Hmmm... I'm pretty happy with are current honeymoon plans... 9 nights (currently hatching a plan to get DF to agree to 10 nights) at the Wilderness Lodge around Christmastime.

However, I like the sound of two weeks at the Grand Floridian, though! I think that would be DF dream honeymoon. He was bummed that the GF wasn't really in our budget.

So, maybe two weeks at the GF in a honeymoon turret suite... Yep, that sounds like a good time!

I think it would be fun to go to all the Disneylands around the world and then end it with a weeks stay at the GF in Disney World (my home away from home) :)

I'm pretty happy with mine as well

14 nights at coronado springs and then 7 nights in jamaica staying at couples negril.

If money was no object I would stay at the poly i think as we have only ever stayed at all stars so anything is a step up but we cant wait till 28th aug 2008 to get on our flight

Mine would also be the "disney parks world tour"...

A few days at Disneyland Paris, a few days at Hong Kong, and 2 weeks in Japan! :yay: well, 1 week for Disney and one week for other Japan stuff. Also, dinner at Club 33 in Tokyo Disneyland...:teeth:

I know DH would totally be on board for this! :thumbsup2

Mine is my dream honeymoon. 5 weeks starting with a week at the Grand Californian in Disneyland and then off to New Zealand for 4 weeks!!!!!!!! I think I am more excited about that then the wedding LOL :cool1:

wow!!!!! That sounds amazing!

As for me, I am not fully positive, but I think it would have to be at least a month and a half (oh heck, let's just do 2 months!) long.... Starting with my DFTW in WDW, 2 weeks - split btwn concierge at AKL, Poly, and GF. Then, a cruise to the Mediterranean with two weeks spent in various European countries. Finish it off with 2 weeks spent exploring Australia.

I think my DBF would drop from exhaustion!!! Haha, I'm definitely a "cram it all in" kind of vacationer, while he realllllly likes his relaxation time - but he got me into Disney, and his dream honeymoon was the world tour of Disneys for a month. We actually discussed this about a month ago, haha.

Hmmm...mine would probably be two weeks split between a honeymoon suite at the GF and the Polynesian, a 10 day cruise around the Mediterrean, finished up by a week in London (I miss living there so much!)

I woulda loved a Disneymoon followed by the Mediterranean cruise we had planned... which we're now planning for a couple years from now instead. But he already proposed at Disneyland Paris... would love to go there... and to the others.

I think the Disney World Tour is an awesome idea! I would really like to go to Tokyo Disney Sea (as long as I could get over the language barrier)!

I didn't even know there was a Club 33 at Tokyo Disneyland. That would be awesome!

My dream started out small, just WISHING for a Disney Honeymoon, even when I was a little girl, I would walk through the GF and whisper, "I want to come here with my husband someday!"

But my boyfriend hadn't been to WDW in years, and even then he just spent a day there as a kid, and couldn't remember anything...and therefore thought it was just some "expensive theme park on steroids" with little kids everywhere and adults with empty pockets. No way was he going there for a honeymoon! I was crushed.

But he knew how much I loved Disney, and WDW, so he planned to fly down when I was there with my parents, to surprise me at the MK and propose. And as pixie dust would have it, it was the most spectacular proposal Mickey had ever helped arrange! My DF, now a believer, gave me the green light to start planning our Disneymoon!

It started off small, as I waited for the free dining promotion to start, thinking we could just spend a week at POFQ (we are "poor" young newlyweds!). But then we saw that AKL wasn't more expensive, and heck yes we could afford another 3 days, so it turned into what it is now, a 10-day Disneymoon at AKL with ADRs at CRT, Le Cellier, Marrakesh, Coral Reef, Narcoossee's, etc.

Just going to Disney on my honeymoon is my dream, soon to come true! But if I really wanted to be picky and selfish, I'd have us staying at the GF for 2 weeks in the honeymoon suite, then a Disney cruise for a week. But I'm pretty happy with what I can actually afford. :)
